“Oh...” she replied quietly, her tail literally between her legs. “I...can see how that would be overwhelming, yes.”

“...do you want me to...um...get someone else to take care of you tonight? I can....uh...get out of here if you want.”

"No. I don't want you to lose out on a night's work... not because of me needing to sort out my feelings. This whole 'girls liking me' thing is still uncharted territory and I just need some time to process... because I do like you."

“And I...well...like you a lot, if we’re being honest here.” she replied after a moment, bashfully.
