Having time to relax for once, Laura opts to check out the campus pub. She drops into a seat and gestures to the bartender. "Ale, please." She lifts the glass placed in front of her, studying it quietly before taking a sip and nodding with satisfaction.

A mission fatigued Tosh plopped down next to her, winced, and ordered enough pub chow for a small army.

"So are my elemental monster selves," he smirked. His expression grew eager as his first order of chili cheese fries arrived. "Now to eat like an anime protagonist," he joked before attacking his food.

Laura gives him a chance to tuck in a bit while she flips through her phone. Once he reaches a pausing point, she asks, "Was this the thing at the hospital?"

"Yeah," he said with a nod. "We tracked the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants there and we won, but then we had a chaotically expanding blob... that had been the friend we went to save... to stop from eating Maldon."

"I'm new. Was finishing an internship with X-Corp or I would have signed up for the first semester. As it is, starting in second semester will have to do."

"I was in their PR department. Not as exciting as hero work, but we occasionally got involved. I worked mostly with their charitable work PR team. Glorified coffee coffee fetcher and document writer for the most part."
