Quiet Night

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza wipes down the bar and double-checks the ingredients behind the bar. For some reason, tonight was unreasonably quiet. She poured a beer and handed it to one of the few customers and went back to looking at the television.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

the chime on the door sounded as Vivienne slipped in and up to the bar.

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza glances over at the chime and lights up a bit when she sees Viv, "Hey, sweetie. What can I get you?"

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"The fruit syrup, grenadine... and soda." She said with wide eyes and bounced up onto a stool.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Sure," Tereza says, starting to put together the drink. "So what brings you to the bar tonight? I thought you had homework."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Couldn't, everything was blurring together. Tried to read the same paragraph three times."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I wish more people had that problem," she says, passing the drink over and leaning on the bar across from Vivienne. "Maybe we'd have more customers tonight then."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"I like less people. More you." She gave Tereza a toothy grin.

[Tereza Rozanov]

She smirks, "I would have thought you would have had enough of me lately."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"You, but not just you. Always others around. Love them, but want just you now."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza raises an eyebrow, "Okay. Take a deep breath, love."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

She took a long slow breath and sniffed at her drink before taking a sip.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"There you go. You were running a mile a minute there for a moment."
