[Social] I'm Fine And Dandy With The Me Inside

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza seemed to be on a roll behind the bar, serving drinks and staying busy with the "just after dinner" crowd. Finally that crowd started to settle out and things slowed down. She nods to someone who buys her a drink, tucking the money into the till and pouring herself a shot of something, drinking it down and setting the glass aside to be washed as she leans on the bar for a moment, taking stock of the crowd.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

The a group of trolling men split as Vivienne stepped through and made her way to the bar. She leaned towards Tereza with a sly smile and a wink.

"Hello there, lovely. Got time for a chat?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Always time for a beautiful face," Tereza's says, moving closer to Vivienne.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"When do you close? I'd like to take you on a walk on the marsh flats." She lightly traced the line of a silver in Tareza's hair.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"My shift ends in a couple of hours and I'd love to go for a walk. You want to hang around for that long or should I come looking for you?"

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"You can come looking for me. Just trust your nose." She smiled and leaned across the bar to give Tereza a quick kiss before melting back into the crowd.

[Tereza Rozanov]

The two hours both drags and flies and as soon as her shift is done, Tereza hangs up her apron and heads out of the XUB, following her nose as she begins looking for Vivienne. Picking up her scent is hard with all the other people who've been coming and going, but eventually she gets far enough away from the XUB that she picks up Viv's trail and begins following it.

Vivienne's scent lead her to the large statue of Byrhtnoth where Viv sat on bench watching the tide roll out.

"Quite the walk," Tereza says she approaches, not looking to startle in case Viv's lost in thought. "Still want company, beautiful?"

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Wanted to challenge you. Of course I do. I wanted to introduce you the lake maidens, they will be long soon. They move with the tide, mud larking I believe they've taken to calling it."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza settles onto the bench next to Vivienne, "Are they friends? Acquaintances? Family?"

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Yes." She smile.

"I met them during my first change wanders. They collect the treasures the tides bring in and turn them into a livable vocation. They make beautiful suncatchers from sea glass."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"And that keeps them from becoming Lost?" Tereza asks, leaning her head on Viv's shoulder.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Yes. Their personal story, maiden sisters who sell pretty crafts made from the lost things of the sea. They are kin to one who took a mortal spouse and had children. Her story is very strong and last spoken from lived memory in the 1800's and was preserved in writing." As she spoke two silhouettes slowly approached from the tide line. They were softly chatting to one another. At first glace they were just two kindly pension aged ladies with buckets in hand but the moment Tereza focused on them their true selves came into focus. They were fey for sure same strange and beautiful features, the large deep dark eyes and most definitely kin to Vivienne. They were older, a few strands of actual silver in their dark hair.

"Right here, under our nose," she remarks with a mild amount of marvel.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Very lucky and very surprised to see me." She chuckled and stood to greet the two.

"Good evening, cousins."

"Viv, dearest. You've returned. It is so nice to see you again."
"Who is your friend?"

"This is Tereza, my girlfriend. Tereza, this is Bev and Karis."

"Girlfriend? Oh how lovely. Well met, Tereza."
"Would you like to come larking with us? We can show you where the best tiles rest."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"It's good to meet you," Tereza says, glancing at Viv. "Shall we go with them?" Through their connection, Viv can tell Tereza's deferring to Viv's expertise.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"It is safe." She said with a smile and reached under the bench retrieving two baskets.

"In case we find something if interest."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I bow to your obviously superior planning," Tereza says, leaning over to kiss Vivienne on the cheek and take one of the baskets. Then she turns to the two fey, "Lead on."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

The two fey lead the way pausing often to pick something up out of a tide pool or rocky pile. They spoke freely and joyously about their finds and plans for them. After they had made some distance from the town the rock piles were becoming more frequent and dark shapes moved around distant ones.

Tereza stops a couple of times, picking through the bits of stones and shells, picking up up a few of the stones and placing them in her basket. "This is... nice," she reflects to Vivienne, "Not what I would have expected, but nice."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

“I thought something calming would be a nice change.” She stepped close to show Teresa a shard of blue and white pottery. They were interrupted buy Bev and Karis.

“Little cousin, come. We have someone we wish you to meet.”
“They have been most helpful.”

They made their way to the next rock pile and two seals peeked out from behind, then stood and became two young women.

“Vivienne, Tereza. This is Gilly and Tess. They have been with us for a week.”
“Our nieces to inherit the shop. Is that not clever?”

[Tereza Rozanov]

"You have a shop? I mean, Vivienne mentioned you sell things, but I didn't know it was a shop shop."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"We've had a few. Our nephew taught us how to hide in plain sight ​ages ago."
"We used to pass the shops between the two of us every 80 human years or so."

The two older women smiled.

"Gilly and Tess arrived a few months ago needing help."
"So we will added them to our little family. They aren't ready yet for town, but they can find large treasures the waves can't bring in."

"I can certainly sympathize with it taking a while to find your place," Tereza says, bending down and inspecting another pebble.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

“You have done so well for yourselves.” Vivienne replied as one of the younger women moved away from her sister and their rock pile. She made a bit of a carful show of “tossing” palm sized piece of red sea glass on the ground. She even bared her very inhuman teeth and gave it a gentle kick towards Tereza.

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza takes a moment, picking over some other things before she picks up the red sea glass, looking it over carefully before adding it to her basket.
