Charles had to pause and think for a moment, which probably spoke to the amount of alcohol he'd had. He couldn't help but lean into Nailah a little.

"I'm pretty sure I don't," Charles said, "I mean I've never been shifted outside in the rain before, so that's... that'd be bad, eh?"

Drunk rambling is always a good sign, right?

Charles was a little disappointed at the loss of contact but the idea of drinks cheered him right up. Somewhere in the drunken haze it registered that maybe Nailah want happy about something.

"Sure! " Charles said moving to follow Nailah to the bar. "Is something... wrong?"

Charles ordered Nailah's drink and another whiskey for himself.

"I have a feeling that the brits are onto something having a pub here on campus," Charles said after taking a sip of his drink.

"Yeah, this is awesome!" she says as she puts the salt on her hand. She takes a moment to order her thoughts, then licks up the salt and downs the shot. It somehow tastes much better this time around and she just calmly munches on the lemon-slice.

Charles emulates, minus the lemon, Nailah's shot drinking and gestures to the bartender for another drink.

"Does that really taste good?" Charles asked trying to ignore his internal monologue.

Just need a couple more shots of liquid courage then, eh?

Charles gestures to the bartender to bring him another. The bartender chuckles a little to himself as he prepares Charles another drink.

Charles drank his new drink even faster than the last one.

"Hey, Nailah," Charles said feeling the burn of the alcohol. He moved in closer to Nailah. "Feel like I should've done this on the dance floor before I had even more to drink because now I'm feeling pretty damn... not accurate."

With that bout of drunken rambling he just leaned in and tried to give Nailah a kiss because hey you only live once, right?

His eyes widened before closing as he leaned into the kiss. He wasn't a half bad kisser after the shock wore off.

Nailah is a little surprised (and oblivious) but she returns the kiss, putting her arms on Charles' shoulder after a moment. This is pretty nice... it bounces through the drunken haze in her head.

Haley was a very good though clearly drunk kisser, and the kiss lasted much longer than was publicly appropriate. She finally broke off the kiss when she was tired of standing on her tiptoes.

"We'll finish that later," she whispered breathily into Tosh's ear before dropping down to the ground and grinning.

Charles wrapped his arms around Nailah's waist and not really being experienced with things like kisses doesn't really know what is publicly acceptable. So probably after a bit longer than was acceptable he broke off from the kiss.

woah, should've done that waaaay earlier.

Some internal part of Charles just sighed at the thought.

"That was really nice," Charles said huskily unsure what else really he was should say in his current situation.
