Murphy vaguely thought about what it would be like to kiss Tosh. Then she went back to thinking about darts. She picks up some darts from a board and walks over to the throwing line.

If she was embarrassed by Sam seeing the mental image of her making out with Tosh, she didn't show it.

Murphy thought Sam was cute when she blushed. She made a mental note to make her do it more often.

What are the rules?

Murphy throws another dart. Since it's not dramatically convenient for her to hit the center, it goes wild and hit the wall.

Murphy is an inconsistent player.

Murphy steps back. She leans against the wall and watches Sam.

Though by the color in her cheeks, she probably has an inkling.

There's a feeling of something else coming across the mental link. Like a predator curious enough to skirt around the edges of a campfire's light.

The feeling makes Murphy perk up a little. Unfortunately, this throws off her shot and it bounces off the wall and onto the floor.

There's something a little different about Sam's bearing as she walks over, bending down to pick up the one stray dart, and plucking the other two from the board. Part saunter, part almost stalking along as she walks back to the line.

"Then I'd better not."

She brings up her arm in a fluid motion and throws. 15 in the doubles range. 30.

Another throw. Double 20, 40.

Finally, a bull's eye.

"How's that?" She thinks over to her shoulder to Murphy with a rakish smirk.

It was hard to be coy when sharing a mental connection. Murphy did consider it part of the game, but it was also just fun to make Sam blush.

She taps her temple with the finned end of the dart for emphasis as she heads back to the line, getting ready for a throw.
