Basil's grip was tight enough, but he did falter a bit once he was upright and Chase would feel Basil's opposite hand reach out to steady himself against Chase's shoulder. Thankfully the invisible boy wasn't too much taller than the visible one or Chase would have been dealing with a gaggle of lanky limbs and awkwardness. Likewise, his skin tight suit having confirmed visually for all around him he was just as slight in frame as his normal suits would suggest, Basil didn't really weigh Chase down much. At a svelte eleven stone (or one hundred fifty five pounds in yank-talk), the unseen boy was easy enough to help along to the infirmary.

"How much progress could you expect to make in just two days?" Colette tried her best to reassure Amy. "Do not worry, you are not alone in zis situation. Zat is why we have come here, no?"

[Amy Myers]

"Yeah but... Still doesn't feel great."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"Of course it does not. But you will be more sympazetic and understanding to ozers who have similar difficulties, no?"

[Amy Myers]

Amy frowns ever so slightly for just a moment. "Pretty sure I just demonstrated why people are right to be afraid of people like me."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"Amy, here we are all people like you."

[Amy Myers]

"And have you ever accidentally hurt somebody?"

[Colette Rosenhof]

"Hasn't everyone?" Colette tilted her head slightly. "We're only human after all. Well, most of us."

[Amy Myers]

"That's not what I meant..."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"But it is the same none ze less. Some of us may have hurt others physically, some mentally, some emotionally, zere are many ways. Pain is pain in any form. It is inevitable zat we will cause some for ozers, and some will cause it for us. But zere are two big differences right now.

"One, you did not intend to harm anyone. And two, you are taking ze steps necessary to learn to control zis, so as not to harm anyone in ze future."

[Amy Myers]

"No one ever hurt someone emotionally because they slipped up for a second. You gotta try pretty fucking hard to put someone in the hospital by hurting their feelings and it's not going to bring down the god damn roof!"

[Colette Rosenhof]

"People say zings zey do not mean to all ze time, a second lapse in judgement can end friendships and more! And physical wounds can heal, but zere are ozer types zat someone may never recover from.

"So what are you going to do? Are you going to endlessly berate yourself for zis, or are you going to do somezing about it?"

[Amy Myers]

"I'm not gonna pretend it's alright until I actually do have it under control! If that's even possible."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"I am not asking you to pretend it did not happen, but being so down on yourself will not help. And of course it is possible. If zey can help ozer students, zey can help you too. Wiz zeir help, every day you will get a little better, I am sure of it."
