"Look, I may have issues, but seeing things isn't one of them. Something's wrong here."

"Please tell me you can see that," she sends to Miriam.

Sean puts up his hands in a gesture of surrender before looking over at Miriam trying to see if it is in fact he who is or rather isn't seeing things.

"All I'm seeing is someone slamming their books around like a lunatic." she informs Sam. Someone's in a lovely mood. To be fair though, from where she's sitting she probably wouldn't see some smear on the table one way or the other.

Sam grumbles and scoops up the book, storming over to Miriam.

"This." She gestures, showing the side with the splatter.

Sean follows Samantha if only because he'd really rather not have one of Melody's books damaged by whatever antics might unfold from the confrontation.

"Eesh, what crawled down your throat this morning? It's a book. Looks like you got some coffee smears on there when you slammed it down."

"Well at least you can see the bloody smears. Thank you, Miriam."

"You're... welcome? Now could you take your jittering neuroses back to your table? It's too early for me to deal with that kinda stuff."

Well, now that makes me feel like a bloody loon

Sean thought to himself as he listened to the exchange.

"I think I'll be leaving anyway," she says, glaring daggers at Sean as she goes to put the book back.

"Someone is trying something here, and it isn't. Bloody. Funny."

She scoops up her backpack and starts walking away.

Sean was relieved the book was back at the table, but also just generally confused as to what had just happened. He walked back as Samantha was gathering her things.

The strangest damn things keep happening around me...

"Well, it bloody well isn't me," Sean said as Samantha walked away, "Can find a bunch of telepaths to check if you'd like."

"Done having my brain poked at, thanks!" She snaps over her shoulder as she leaves.

Sean watched Sam not really sure how this conversation had spun out of control like that.

"I was talking about my brain," Sean said before sighing and sitting back down at his table.
