"Likely the former," he sighed, "Honestly I'm not entirely sure which I'd prefer."

"I think I'd go with the baldness," Tereza said, drawing a beer into the glass and setting it in front of him.

"As if only feeling like an outsider all my bloody life wasn't enough," he grumbled.

"Beats riding the line, I suppose. I'm still getting used to it myself."

"Something to eat I think. I need the protein," he said, "A burger maybe? The Wolverine Burger I guess. That sounds... ridiculously meaty."

"Well my punching Nazis buzz is wearing off, only to be replaced by a sense of worthlessness because nothing I can do can help the missing. Other than that I'm good."

"Yeah, I'm with you there. Ice I know. Dimensional and temporal mechanics are not really my strong suit. Classes going okay?"

"I'd be more open to it if, while I regenerate now, using my powers didn't seem to accelerate my issues."

Tereza nodded, "I can see that being a concern. Could it be just delaying the inevitable though?"

"I'm kind of there myself. The med center doesn't know if using my powers will accelerate this or if it's just the new normal."

"For me, it was getting arrested and finding out there were people who gave a fuck about *me* and not just what I could do. The principal is similar." She got herself a glass of water and raised it, "To second chances?"
