"I'd much prefer to keep my dignity, thank you." she says with the hint of an amused smirk on her lips. "But thanks for the offer."

"So this is... good, right? You weren't followed here by cavemen, or dinosaurs, or cavemen riding dinosaurs in defiance of all fossil evidence?"

Basil remained silent, still holding onto Colette, perhaps a bit tighter still than before.

Emilie gasped at the other girl who she shouldn't have any reason to assume isn't the real Mother of Dragons.

"Duuuuuuuuuuuuuude! That would be amazing!

Did you bring us a prezzie like that Big Boss?!?

"I have all the dinosaur-related souvenirs I care for." she says, holding up and clenching her metal hand. "Any questions pertaining to riding them I'm afraid you'll have to direct at Tosh."

"I think Tosh's kind of... distracted."

"Is zis not ze part where zere is a cheer and a toast to celebrate?" Colette asked with legitimate curiosity.

"I WILL DRINK TO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING." Basil added.

"More shots!" Haley cheered, giggling, before breaking down and getting on her tiptoes to give Tosh a peck on the cheek.

Seeing as 'Big Boss' seemed to be well enough to make it back to her room herself, Emilie agreed. " More shots! One for Tosh before he leaves!"

She went about getting him a whiskey.

Tosh smiled after the kiss. "I'd kiss you back but I haven't gotten to brush my teeth since I left either."

He hesitated before sating, "Okay, one shot. Then I get clean."

Colette tugged on Basil's boney arm as she walked toward the bar. "Come Monsieur Faucheuse, let us celebrate zis wiz ze ozers."

"GIN. Basil said in such a booming voice it almost sounded like a demand as Colette tugged him along. Basil's other hand caught Chase's sleeve to pull him along.

Chase was actually caught off guard by being recruited into the human booze chain. But he rolled with it convincingly enough for those who didn't know the scope of his capabilities.

"You realize every time I try to go drink alcohol, something violent happens, right?"

"C'MON MATE, WE'RE AT HOME. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?"

"You really don't want me to start answering that."

"WHATEVER." Basil replied dismissively. " THIS ROUND IS ON DEATH'S TAB."He easily cried out to the assembled partiers.

"Because everyone wants Death giving them a drink," Chase said, "Why yes Mister Reaper, I trust you."

Tosh drank his shot without even wincing. Medieval Irish ale had somewhat strengthened his tolerance. He put down the glass and grinned.

"Thanks Em. I needed that."

Looking to Haley, he said, "I'll be back waaaay sooner this time. Promise." And he was off.

"THE ONLY THING YOU CAN TRUST IN IS DEATH.' Basil pointed out.

"AND TAXES." He added to the centuries old idiom.

Colette was forgoing shots and instead raised a champagne glass of vibrant green liquid with some sugar cubes floating in it.

"Zis is ze part where ze British give a toast, is it not?"

It was only now, as he was in the middle of unhinging Death's lower jaw and by her repeating herself that Basil realized Colette was implying *him*. He often forgot that for a British school, Brits were a surprising minority.

"Oh, aahhhh...Well." He said in his normal voice, Death's mouth hanging open like he was having a hearty laugh. Basil didn't really know either of the returnees that well, and he turned his neat gin on the counter in a few rotations while he thought on it. He wasn't even sure where the hell they'd gone in the first bloody place, just that they had returned.

"When I think on travel, I think of the following:

'Roads go ever ever on, under cloud and under star, but feet that wandering have gone, turn at last to home afar.' "

That seemed sufficient to him. If it wasn't, someone else could handle it. He held his glass aloft.

"May our feet always find their way home, no matter how far one wanders."

"To finding home," Chase added happily, tapping his own glass against theirs before downing the shot. He half expected a supervillain to burst in at precisely that moment.

"Salut!" Colette raised her glass before taking a sip and placing her hand on Basil's shoulder. It was so easy for him to withdraw from others, the girl just wanted to nudge him into the spotlight on occasion so he wouldn't feel too over-looked. Not that he was easy to miss right now. She stood on her toes to whisper in his ear.

"Zat was lovely Basil. Zank you."

Downing his gin with relative ease, Basil ordered something else again before Colette whispered to him.

Basil shrugged. " I stole it." He admitted, not one to take credit for another man's words. This time he had two drinks in his hands, downing the gin again and taking the vodka in hand after he adjusted his costume. " Excuse me love, I'll be right back." He stated as he flipped a switch under the chin of his mask, then walked towards 'Daenerys'.

"BREAKER OF CHAINS-" He addressed her, " WON'T YOU COME AND JOIN MY FRIENDS AND I? YOU APPEAR TO BE ALONE, THAT WON'T DO."

In truth, Basil had seen her from across the room and while he did find her to be attractive (who wouldn't?) he noticed she was alone, as was Chase. Better late than never?

He held out the vodka, offering it to her.

"I seem to recall that the only thing I'm supposed to tell Death is 'not today,'" she smirks as she makes her way over.

Satisfied that he had done good, Basil introduced everyone around him.

" THIS IS COLETTE, DESTROYER OF REASONABLY SIZED DESSERT MENUS." Basil motioned to his date, then to his mate-" AND CHASE, WOULD BE APPRENTICE OF KATNISS OF THE 12TH DISTRICT." It didn't occur to Basil that Sam would already know Chase, since he had no clue who she was in the first place.

"This one looks a little too well-fed to be Katniss' understudy."

"Aren't we all?" he commented.

Colette looked a little miffed at her introduction at first but seemed to be in good enough spirits to just take a joke as a joke.

"It is a pleasure to meet you." She took another sip of her rather potent drink, the green liquid disappearing down past the collar of her suit.

"INDEED. SO MUCH SO I NEGLECTED TO ASK WHO YOU ARE." Basil managed to hold in a chuckle, and paused expectantly for an answer.

"So I'm not the heir to the Iron Throne?" She smirks.

"News to me."

"NEWS TO YOU AND PRACTICALLY EVERYONE ELSE IN YOUR UNIVERSE, SO IT SEEMS."

Basil had absolutely no filter on this thoughts, and they were basically pouring out of him like the gin he seemed to be pouring in. The general gist of them seemed centered around himself, which was odd given he was acting relatively well behaved. A showman, it seemed.

"PRAY TELL, WHAT DOES A KHALEESI DO FOR FUN?"

Chase just looked lost. Leaning closer to Collete, he asked, "Do you have any idea what they're talking about?"

Colette shook her head and whispered back to Chase. "I believe it is somezing to do wiz Camelot?"

"Riding dragons and liberating slaves tends to be pretty fulfilling work."

"It means I doubt you could keep up with me," she smirks.

"I AM SURE I COULD, BUT I WASN'T THINKING OF MYSELF." Basil states, and reaches out to take Colette by the hand. "DANCING SHOULD BE A TRIBAL RITUAL."

Haley leaned over to Colette and Chase, "I think she's from World of Warcraft and they're talking about stuff from the game."
