"This is great! I should have tried this sooner!" she laughs, putting more effort into her dancing and promptly missing more arrows on account of just kind of doing her own thing.

"I bet there is some normal dancing around here somewhere." She offered as they continued, starting to sound a bit winded. "A lot of the kids are issued it as a therapy exercise for their abilities."

"People here get therapy for their powers?" she asks as the song winds down.

"Sometimes." She replied as things came to a stop, panting a bit.

"Phew!" Once she caught her breath, she went back to her thoughts. "Sometimes people need help. Sometimes people hate their ability so they do not use them and they atrophy. Or sometimes they cannot control them at all. Sometimes just functioning can be a challenge depending on your gift.

For people like that, the Institute used to offer ways to help. I would be surprised if the University did not offer similar techniques."

"Huh. I guess that makes sense. Not sure dance therapy does, but the rest of it."

"Dance classes or gymnastics were usually recommended as a sort of physical therapy for people with different physical mutations to get used to their new bodies. People who had grown non-wing animal mutations or other non-humanoid features or shifters made up most of the students in those classes. Not me though.

And winged kids went to flying classes, of course." She nodded.

"What's to get used to? Your body's your body, right? I mean I know where my arm is, even when it's not, you know, an arm."

"Well, maybe you get backwards haunch legs that do not bend in the same direction as before. Or you turn into a naga on the bottom. Or perhaps your hands turn into tentacles." Chisaki demonstrated by making noodle arms to elaborate.

"Your arms are not the same as they were before. They do not perform the same. But this only applies to people who were not born with their mutation.

That is why I am here at the union building actually! I want to start a club for people like that. People who have not had the time or encouragement to understand their own gifts."

"Huh... Yeah, guess I've just never known anything else..." she let's slip.

"Were you born with your gift too?" She asked.

"Uh... I dunno. Probably not?" she shrugs slightly. She's blabbed this much. If she tells this girl too much she can always find a new face to wear around. "I don't really remember."

Shari shrugs. "If I remembered that it wouldn't be a problem in the first place."

"Oh, I am sorry." Chisaki frowned sympathetically before opening her bag up again, the sound of plastic rustling as she opened something up. Once she got it open, she held out the bag to offer some to Shari.

"Memories exist so we can recall good times. No memory means nothing bad to recall at least."

"Hah, not the worst way of living." she chuckles and takes a handful of whatever it she's being offered, popping one in her mouth. "Fhanks."

"You are welcome!" She replies cheerfully. The candy she had been offered was extremely chewy and would probably keep Shari's teeth busy for awhile.

"I guess I should find the place to hang my poster." She commented, indicating to a rolled tube attached to her bag strap. "Do you know where that is?"

"You are probably right!

I will see you later Shari-senpai?"

Shari furrows her brow for a moment, not sure what the suffix means but then shrugs and gives her a thumbs up.

As she's chewing something about her jaw seems to twist itself beyond normal movement and with a couple determined bites and jerks she seems to swallow the candy. "Sure thing!" she says, lower jaw still not really following normal human movements while showing a glimpse of some kind of fish-from-the-ocean-abyss level inner jaw. it makes her grin look kind of disturbing.

Most people would be disturbed, Chisaki found it cute.

"I will see you later! "
