Canyon of the Crescent Wrench

The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days. The nearby stables are still maintained with a number of well-heeled equines.

From other people, that might have come out snarky. Will was...Will was weird.

"Right", Will said, cracking his knuckles. "Let's see what's up."

He squatted over, shrinking down as he did so to get an up-close and personal look at the guts of the bike. "Oof. Basically strapping an entirely new engine?" he asked in a high-pitched voice, reaching up and grabbing on to the frame.

"If I can't salvage some of the other bits, yeah," Tereza says. The bike showed all the signs of having been mistreated by whoever its previous owner or owners had been. There was a distinct lack of preventative maintenance so quite a few of the moving parts were completely seized. Some of the electric parts were probably okay though.

Will reached up between a couple of the moving parts, squeezing his hands into whatever gaps were available and trying to pry some of the seized parts apart. "Whoever...did this...should be booked...for cruel...and...unusual..." he grunted, bracing his feet against the frame as he dangled and pulled.
