A Trail Gone Cold

The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days. The nearby stables are still maintained with a number of well-heeled equines.

A Trail Gone Cold

Postby Red » Thu Mar 28, 2019 2:08 pm

It had seemed like a good enough place to hole up. An old estate in disrepair. Plentiful game in the woods. No groundskeeper.

Then the burned out shell of the lighthouse had bloomed with crystals, and the countryside went mad. Ghosts of people. Unfamiliar buildings.

So she went where things almost made sense. Out to the woods.

Someone was already out in the middle of the woods, a small cloud of fog swirling around her as she sat cross-legged on the ground, eyes closed.

The tall redhead frowns as she sees someone out there, sniffing as she circles around.

"You look like a couple of people I know. Hard to place though." The young woman smells like wolf and also not. There's a distinct scent of rain, earth, and ozone hovering around her.

The redhead's nostrils flare as she nears.

"You're... damn it, you are, aren't you?"

The tall woman herself smells strongly of wolf, even through the damp.
