"Didn't say I wasn't," she replies with a toothy smirk.

"Didn't assume you were, but if you want to lunge at me to prove it, we'll have a chat about that after your system's recovered from being struck by lightning," she says, smirking right back.

"Let's save that for the second date," she laughs.

"Oh, this is a date then?"

"I've had worse ones, you?"
