Amy squints a little. Why did British slang have to be so impenetrable that she can't tell if he's pulling her leg. She finally settles on it being an actual term.

"Mostly they just told me to practice. And it's not like this place hasn't been helpful!" she quickly interjects herself. "But it hasn't been as much or as easy as I'd hoped, I guess."
