"She... The Morrigan, yanked my wolf forward to play with her for a bit. Afterwards, it was a bit awkward and..." She looks at her hands, "I think I resented her doing it... on some level."

[Emilie]

"Sounds like she hasn't got full control over her yet...I'm sorry.

"You have the right to be angry. She needs to correct her behavior. No one is a toy."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"She thought she was helping. She thought if she showed the wolf a good time, rewarded it with attention, it would be easier for me to handle the wolf." She sighs, "She apologized and I've been trying to patch things up, but like a lot of things, it's easier to destroy than it is to build."

[Emilie]

"Always." Emilie flopped on the ground in one of the few dry places left from Tereza's practice. She pulled a paper bag out of her satchel.

"Sam, The Morrigan, whatever you want to call her.... she does a lot of dumb shit thinking she's helping people. I know that doesn't make it better. But it's going to take time for them to figure out how to synchronize and stop doing dumb shit.

The question is, are you willing to stick around for more of that dumb shit? Is that a commitment you are willing to make?"

"That's the important question, isn't it? And my gut reaction is to say 'Yes', but I don't necessarily totally trust my gut here."

[Emilie]

"Why's that?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Because my gut has a wolf living in it who is over the moon about the Morrigan."

[Emilie]

"And what shuts up the wolf so you can think for yourself for a moment and decide if she's right?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Working on that," she says, "trying to teach her a few things."

[Emilie]

"Well...

I got a whole stash here I gotta get gone before some straight edge narc in knickerbockers decides to rat me out. You wanna see if that works?" She asked, smirking and holding up the bag.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Given that alcohol has no discernible effect, I doubt that would either and I'm not much on smoking just for the hell of it. But you go right ahead, I'm not going to tell anybody."

[Emilie]

Emilie gave the thumbs up, and went about the business of doing just that.

"If it helps ease your decision any, I think that you're a good match for her. You don't seem to be giving into this idea that she's a goddess or whatever. "

"I can't exactly deny that there's something there. Too many weird occurrences and things for there not to be something in it. I don't feel like being a believer though." Then she adds, almost in response to something unheard, "No matter what my other half says."

[Emilie]

"I mean, yea, she's powerful. And yea, she reincarnates. But like.

Logan basically does that too. No one's buildin' his ass a shrine or laying offerings at his feet or whatever." She thinks outloud, then adds.

"Perhaps your wolf should just agree to believe in Morrigan, and accept it's enough from you to believe in Sam. You know. Like awkward multi-religious thanksgivings."

"Easier said than done when we're both rattling around in the confined space that is my head."

[Emilie]

"Fair. Admittedly, I haven't had to deal with that. Only one really really fucked up mind in here." She jokes.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Seems like everyone around here has their own special brand of fucked up."

[Emilie]

"Mutant condition I suppose. Dieties don't make it better. All there's to do is to build a patchwork that works for you."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Sometimes I'm not sure if I'll get there."

[Emilie]

"You'll get there." Emilie responded, sounding convinced herself. " All do eventually."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Some days I feel like it'll be more of a blaze of glory kind of thing than I've patched my shit into something workable, but the world could surprise me."

[Emilie]

"In my experience it always does. It likes to fuck things up like that." She grinned.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"It does like to be a bastard like that doesn't it?"

[Emilie]

"Makes for a fun ride, I imagine. Can't let things get too settled. "

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Change and evolution and all that as they keep telling us."

[Emilie]

"On the topic of change....

Since we're having this little forest heart to heart, can I trust that if you're called upon to wreck shop if the situation calls, that I could do such a thing?"

"Depends on whose shop I'm wrecking, but probably."

[Emilie]

"I dunno yet. Maybe nobody's. But when I know, you'll know." Emilie replied vague, then realized how ominous that sounded.

"Not because I got crazy mind power juju like your girl, it will just be painfully obvious to everyone on campus."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Well, you know if it's threatening someone here, the pack, such as it is, will definitely step up."

[Emilie]

" What if the threat is someone here?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

She raises an eyebrow, "You talking about the new admin or something else?"

[Emilie]

"The admin and anyone who works for them or with them."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Well, you better believe I'm keeping an eye on them. So yeah, if a rumble's necessary, I'll rumble."

[Emilie]

"Well then, I'll look for you in the potential fray." She replied, smirking as she smoked.
