"You're probably right. But... I don't wanna just leave you out here with just some lamps and hay. If I didn't have a roommate I'd let you crash at my room but, yeah, that would be hard to explain."

"Come back for me later. I've stowed away in a lot worse places than a hayloft, trust me. I'll find my friend and go back to sleep, and when you wake up tomorrow we can go sign away my life to forty-thousand dollars worth of debt I'll never repay."

[Victor Freud]

"Hooray! Fraud!" Victor seemed rather excited about that.

[Emilie]

"You're rather keen on this idea. Usually when I suggest stealing from people you're all like 'No Emilie, bad Emilie. Don't open a bunch of credit cards on someone else's social security number Emilie. It's not right to take people's wallets Emilie'. "

[Victor Freud]

"Well there's a difference between ruining some poor guy who's no different than you and me and making his life hell, and borrowin' stuff that's not being used. Stealin' millions from a dead man who had no relatives or friends is less of a crime than stealin' a painted rock from an old lady's yard, 'cause only one of the two will be upset by it." Interesting viewpoint.

Now Emilie was giggling, but for reasons Victor wouldn't understand. His logic reminded her greatly of another person commonly associated to Freuds, one who tended to try to find legal loopholes for their own betterment.

"You'd not make a good lawyer.

"I guess it's a good thing I'm not in law school then." Victor smiled.

"You sure you'll be alright?"

[Emilie]

"Yes, I'll keep till morning."

[Victor Freud]

"Alright then. Goodnight Em. Will I see ya at breakfast?" Victor paused at the hatch, waiting for an answer.

[Emilie]

"Sure. I'll find my way after I deal with paperwork."
