DT1: The Most Dangerous Game

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy was quite good at disappearing into the woods. Sam would have her work cut out for her if she planned on catching the girl.

Although, Sam was a telepath. That'd probably work to her advantage.

Murphy darts between the trees, moving with the graceful bounds of a deer, as she tries to think of a plan. She was probably faster than Sam, but she wouldn't be able to hide from her very effectively.

Tricky.

For now, Murphy tries to put some distance between her and Sam.

It wouldn't do to make things too easy.

"Faster, eh?"

Sam pauses at the edge of the woods, pulling off her shoes.

"We'll see about that."

[Hannah Murphy]

Once she has some distance between her and Sam, Murphy jumps towards a large tree. She had a few tricks besides running. She clambered quickly up the tree like a squirrel and crouched on one of the thick branches, keeping quiet as she watches the woods for movement.

Sam is soon running nimbly through the forest, closing ground between Murphy and herself. Her frame seems warped compared to what Murphy is used to. Stretched out, wiry.

Murphy grins. It looked like Sam had some tricks as well.

Clever fox.

Murphy crept through the branches, trying her best not to shake them as she moved higher. She wanted to get above Sam's eyeline before she made her move.

Once Sam starts to near Murphy's position, she stops going in a straight line, circling around to try and get a fix on where Murphy is.

And that's when Murphy drops out of the tree, trying to tackle Sam.

But, y'know, gently. Somehow.

Sam is only briefly caught off-guard, and though she takes the tackle she tries to use some of Murphy's momentum to send the both of them into a roll.

Murphy laughs as she rolls with Sam along the forest floor.

[Samantha McManus]

Sam tries to angle the roll, aiming to wrestle herself on top of Murphy.

"...got tired of waiting for me?" She smirks.

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy hits the ground with Sam on top of her.

Slow, Murphy teases.

[Samantha McManus]

Sam looms over Murphy, catching her breath. Her shape is angular, her cheekbones prominent. Her hair is longer, wilder, and her ears poke from it puckishly, coming to points. She's nearly equal to the tall girl in stature now, long limbs clad in lithe muscle.

"It's just sporting to give you a head start."

A grin spreads across her face, lips peeling back to show sharp teeth.

Murphy grins back.

Dressed up?

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm what I need to be right now."

She reaches out with a clawed hand to tousle Murphy's hair.

"You like?"

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy answers by sitting up a bit and kissing Sam.

[Samantha McManus]

Sam kisses back eagerly, hungrily, accompanied by noises that sound less like they should be coming from a girl, and more from a wild animal as she runs her claws through Murphy's hair.

Some of Sam's nature seems to be bleeding over to Murphy, who's already a bit sensitive to a feral mindset. Her eyes and senses sharpen along with her teeth and claws. She growls playfully as the more human bits of her begin to retreat.

"And now you're all dressed up," she chuckles.

"I wonder though, who caught who?"

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy growls again before pushing Sam over and trying to pin her.

[Samantha McManus]

Sam wrestles a bit, managing another roll but ultimately winding up pinned under Murphy.

With only the most Cheshire of sharp-toothed grins.

"...touche."

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy's grip on language was...tenuous at times. Now, it seems to have been replaced completely with rather powerful emotions and body language.

Playfully, she nips Sam's ear while radiating some rather intense emotions towards the redhead.

Of course, straddling Sam like that, it's not like her body language was hard to read either.

Linked as they are, it's not altogether surprising that Sam is along for the ride.

[Fade to grey]

[Hannah Murphy]

((fade to grey))

Murphy sits up, shaking the twigs and leaves out of her hair.

You're fun.

[Samantha McManus]

"Is that an invitation to do this again sometime?" She asks, rising with a shake of her own.

"You're beautiful when you let go."

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy chuckles. So are you.

[Samantha McManus]

"So to me that just says we'll need to keep finding some time to... be beautiful together, aye?"

[Hannah Murphy]

Anytime.

Murphy leans down and gives Sam a quick kiss.

[Samantha McManus]

Sam returns it, before finally rising to her feet.

"See you around, Murphy." She grins.

[Hannah Murphy]

Good night!

[Samantha McManus]

With a giddy laugh, she heads back to fetch her shoes.
