Victor groans softly, his eyes starting to focus and look in the same direction again.

"Physically or mentally?" He asked before coughing, still catching his breath. "Doesn't matter, the answer t'both is no. Either something's messing with my brain, or there was a friggin' leprechaun up there."

"Your hair looks nice with the sun shining through it though." Yup, must've hit his head.

The tree appears to be empty. At least from down here. The laughing has stopped though.

"I meant about the guy in the tree," she grumbled, squinting up through the branches.

Victor sat himself up with a grunt, leaning against the base of the tree as he'd come out the worse of the two combatants.

"Never pass up an opportunity to say somethin' nice to a girl. Grandpa taught me that. But you gotta know her first otherwise it's catcallin'."

He looks up into the branches. "Was there really anything up there, or am I goin' crazy?"

Victor pushed himself to his feet, leaning against the trunk of the tree as he brushed himself off.

"You gonna be alright here if I go check on Emilie?"

Vic's face flushed slightly. "She's not my... nevermind. I'll see ya later." Twice defeated, Vic headed inside.
