Nailah is sitting on the lawn, optimistic about the grey clouds hanging above. She's not really meditating but she seems like she's concentrating on something, occasionally scribbling things down in a notepad in front of her.

As he passed by, Chase stopped to curiously sneak a peek at what Nailah was drawing.

She's not drawing anything, but rather writing down things. Stuff such as 'stop crime in London' which is crossed out and scribbled over. Next to it it just says 'reduce crime in London - 824 steps'. Then there's more mundane stuff like 'ace all my classes this semester - 413' or 'impress Miss Kinney - 32'.

The voice had come from Will. Where had Will been? Well, the fact that Nailah's pen was now missing was probably a good starting point.
