Walking through a corner in the maze made of hedges was a ice sculpture. Getting more and more irritated by the inability to get out of damn place without cheating. Cold brows scrunched together before his head shook from side to side as his form melted into a puddle before forming into a cloud. Rising higher and higher as the maze came into better view. "Being water has its perks I suppose." Adam mumbled to himself as he watched to see if any others had found themelves lost.

There's nobody in the maze right now, but a girl with wings and the lower body of a lion seems to be surveying the hedges from the air as well. Notepad in hand she's trying to scribble down the layout mid-flight and thus doesn't notice when she soars right into Adam. Not expecting to fly into a cloud at this altitude she lets out a surprised noise and frantically flaps her wings to back off.

Eyes widened as his body was passed through messing with the shape he was trying to take as a cloud. Laughter came from his lips as the parts that had went around her pulled together to form his humanoid appearance. "My apologize. I didn't mean to be in your way.." Mumbling the last few words as he was unsure if he was truly in her way. Floating back a little to give the girl some space after the bumping into.

"Whoa, hey, you're a talking cloud! Shoot, I'm so sorry, usually the skies are pretty empty!" she laughs, flapping her wings to stay more or less in one place.

Adam smiled as he listened to the gals apology with a nod of his head. "No problem. It's not like I couldn't just go around you." He joked a little while looking at her mutations curiously. Taking notice of the wings. "What is your mutation if I may ask? Mine is being made of water in all its forms"

"You're looking at it!" she grins and flies in a tight circle in lieu of twirling in one spot. "Wings and claws and tail and all."

"Do you enjoy it?" He asked after her explaination as the humanoid cloud slowly turned used down.

"Heck yeah! It's the best thing in the world. The open sky and everything being all small down below. There's nothing like it."

"I would happily be normal again. I doubt anyone would want a ice sculpture as a boyfriend" the cloud laughed as humanoid cloud being rained water under himself. Dripping down as dropletts until the puddle on the ground below gathered and froze into the shape of a humanoid ice sculpture. Grinning as he showed another part of his mutations

"Aww, I bet there's somebody out there for you." she says as she follows him down to the ground. "Have you met Tereza? I don't think she minds ice."

"No I have not." Frowning slightly as his eyes narrowed on the notebook she was holding. "Mmm I doubt it but thanks for showing empathy. Others can be so rude?" He said while slightly asking

"Well, it's just a tough question, yeah? I dunno if I could give up my wings..."

"But if you could fix your mutation apace go without, would you?" Adam asked while extending his hand to show that it had been melting. Groaning as he simply pulled the small puddle that was his liquified finger and drew it back to freeze back to use again.

"Well... I wouldn't want to fix mine, but I guess I got lucky..." she says, looking at Adam's melting finger uncomfortably. She's aware that less pleasant mutations exist, she just hasn't spend much time thinking about it up until now.

Observing the girls reaction, tapping the melted finger on his frozen ice lips before smiling once again cause "I didn't mean to make you feel awkward.." He mumbled at the end as his eyes remained on her notebook. Seeing it as a perfect way to change the subject a little. "What were you doing with that?"

"Oh, just trying to figure out the maze. It's kinda hard to draw properly while flying though." she chuckles, rubbing the back of her head.

"Maybe try starting with all the entrances or the only two." He offered the advice with a smile

"It's really more that it's tough to draw a straight line on a notepad when you're flying." she laughs.

Adam hummed to himself as he thought about it for a moment. "Maybe try walking through it? I'm not sure really how you could do it without problems

"But everyone can do that."

"Can they? I believe some folks have disabilities." Adams body melted slowly into water before settling in a humanoid cloud form. Floating a little bit off the ground once more. "Care for the company? I promise to not make it rain on you?" He dead panned

"Sure." she chuckles. "So you would go back to normal if you could?"

"Yes and No the more I think about it" Laughing a but at the idea

"Like, I bet you're never cold anymore. That's gotta be really nice."

"Psh.. I eat ice cubes when I start to melt when I don't want to." He smiled

"Why bother with that if you could be eating ice cream!" she grins.

Adam chuckled. "I don't need to eat so why would I waste ice cream that you could be eating?" He smirked.

"But... you do still taste stuff, right?"

"It's either that or think I still do. I mostly eat to feel normal again not that I have to. Also how weird would it be at dinner conversation if I was just sitting their not eating" He joked more at the end with a sad expression that changed to a more chipper expression. "Speaking of which would you like to?"

"What? Eat?" she asks, completely missing the actual question.

Adam smiled. "Do you want to get something to eat later if bored?" He clarified

"Oh! Yeah, sure." If he is asking her out for a date that realization still doesn't quite seem to have reached her yet.

"Great. Also it's as a date... It's not because you haha I'm gay." He wanted that to be mentioned so it would let her know that it wasn't for other reasons.

Nailah blinks at him for a moment. "Wait so... is it a date or not?"

"Yes. No... I mean yes no that it isn't a date." Shaking his cloud head in confusion at his own words.

Nailah chuckles. "Alright then. It's a not-date."

"It will be a awesome Not Date" He smiled. Perpously making cloud around his cheek go in to give the expression upon the humanoid face. "So how far is the maze thing that you drew?"

"I got one corner but it's pretty squiggly." she says, holding her notes out for Adam to see. It's... borderline readable.

Adam tries to grasp at the notes but all he left was a slight damp feel where is cloud hands had tried grabbing. Grumbling as he moved closer to look. Dark brow raised over one eye in utter confusion with her writing. "Right...you ever think oft asking a art class? Or slowing down while flying?"

"Hey, it's enough if I can read it, right?" she chuckles.
