Lorenzo walked up to the table and got a glass of wine, after stepping back away from the table he took a small sip.

Miriam had listened to the speech from a distance and only approaches the huge gathering of people to grab something to eat and a glass of wine before distancing herself again from the mess of subconscious thoughts in the crowd. She tries to find the different concentrations of inspiration, indifference and general reactions to the speech, letting her power give her an impression of the mood of the gathering instead of diving in and risk getting overwhelmed or, worse, having her own opinion altered by sheer majority vote.

Nailah looks extremely embarrassed at being shushed and fidgets with the label on her beer bottle before thankfully finding a different topic.

"Wait, how would you grow and shrink at the same time? Wouldn't that just make you stay the same?" she then interrupts herself with an overly dramatic gasp. "You're doing it right now!"
