A Maze-ing

Solve the hedge maze, they said. It would be easy, they said.

Molly was not finding it quite so simple.

"Oh, fudge! I think I've been here before," she said, stumbling across yet another dead end.

Sofia was wandering the maze as well, when she spotted Molly. She follows after the girl.

"Yoo hoo!" Sofia says cheerfully. She waves, "Are you lost too?"

"But you're right. It's good to not be lost and alone," Sofia says. She takes a pack of cigarettes from her jeans and lights one, "You smoke?"

"Right. Here we go..." she said, closing her eyes to concentrate.

At first, nothing happened. And then, slowly but picking up speed, she began to drop in size--3 feet, 2 feet, 1...stopping at just under a foot.

"Always gives me a bit of a head rush," she said, opening her eyes. "The perspective shift hits you hard."
