Apparently, Tereza's concept of "taking it easy" didn't preclude taking a gentle jog around the grounds. Dressed in shorts and a tank-top with her arm still bandaged, she'd reached the 'walk it off' part of her jog and was meandering aimlessly around the lawn.

The jog doesn't seem to have helped much. For awhile it felt good, but it wasn't... enough. There's still restless energy in Tereza's limbs.

"Bah," Tereza said, jogging in place for a minute. When that didn't help, she moved to a grassy area and started working on some of her sparring footwork.

"Doing alright all things considered. Would be better if my roommate weren't missing, but she'll turn up sooner or later." She lifted her arm, "And this, this I got from a fight with some creepy-as-fuck feral mutant in town. If you see some black haired woman skulking around Maldon and sniffing the air, steer clear and call the school."

Tereza feels a faint throb from under the bandage, and a spasm goes through the tendons of her hand.

Tereza flexed her fingers in response to the spasm and nodded, "Something like that. Wouldn't want anyone else to run afoul of her."

"Oh, you know, the usual. Coursework, mainly. Algebra was NOT included in the brochure here. Fighting bad guys, yes. Maths, no."

Tereza made a face, "Yeah. I'm not particularly the academic type. I prefer the 'fighting bad guys' part of the curriculum."

There's a faint thrill in Tereza's limbs as she talks about it, and her heart rate picks up a bit. A brief flash of memory from the fight the night before, how good it felt to be back in action.

As they talk, Tereza gradually becomes more aware of smells in the area. Grass, fallen leaves, a faint whiff of the groundskeeper's aftershave. However one set of scents starts to become ever stronger. Fabric. Cheap laundry detergent. Stale sweat. It's getting overbearing.

It's coming from Vinnie's direction.

She manages to stop herself from looking curiously in that direction. That dream must have messed up my brain.

"Danger Room's a great place to practice that. I use it to practice with my powers whenever the grounds crew starts yelling at me about ice on the lawn."
