The Estate's meticulously kept gardens and lawns spread between the buildings, plenty of benches and groups of trees providing places to sit in the shade, making the gardens a popular place to study when the weather is nice. Rose bushes and flower beds are scattered throughout along the paths leading from building to building. The stables on the west-side of campus are small but well maintained and house a handful of horses that are available for students to ride. In the south-east, near the lighthouse is a hedge maze that is deceptively hard to solve.
