Chase leaned against the gate to the maze, waiting for Sam and Tereza.

Tereza approached from the direction of the Point, dressed in sweatpants and a sweatshirt, which was unusual garb for her.

"This is a weird place to discuss important stuff, aye?" Sam says, approaching from the direction of the dorms.

"This one's sensitive and there are fewer cameras out here," he said matter-of-factly as he detached himself from the gate.

Tereza raises an eyebrow, "An interesting reason. How's this related to X-Men business?"

"A pair of assassins from Madripoor made an attempt on President Oswald at the US Embassy. We know where the one still at large is going to be. We need to listen in on a probable client meeting to make sure their business in our backyard is over."

He looked down at his feet for a moment, then looked to them without the mask of professionalism. "This one is... personal too. They... I used to work for them. If not voluntarily."

"Are you... asking us if we're bad enough dudes to save the president?" Sam quirks a ginger brow.

"No. I... kinda... did that already," he smirked shyly.

"Just an eavesdropping mission if nothing goes wrong. The trouble, and why Minamida needs deniability, is the meet is in Crimea."

Tereza frowns, "Russia."

"There's no guarantee the Russian job has anything to do with the Black Lotus doing business here. But Kinney agrees that it's worth finding out what their next move is. You two were the first team members we thought might be able to help."

"How do you feel about that?" Sam asks, looking to Tereza.

Tereza looks conflicted. "Not real keen on going back to Russia, especially not with... things the way they are." She glances at herself, "But I speak Russian and I can help you fit in." She looks directly at Sam. "Do you think you can keep me sane? I'm going to be seeing threats everywhere."

"I'll do my damnedest. If you're going, I'm definitely going."

Tereza turns back to Chase, "Sounds like we're in then."

"...I'm guessing we don't get the big whiz-bang jet for this?"

"Nothing that big and obvious this time, I imagine."

"I know someone who might know someone who can get us in, so long as you don't mind potentially travelling 'luggage' class."

"After the last mission, I've done worse."

"Something tells me we all have at one time or another."

"I'll make some calls. I assume we're on short notice here?"

"Very," he nodded.

Tereza nods. "Okay. I'll make sure she knows that."

"She, eh?" Sam quirks a brow.

"Not who you're thinking," Tereza says, "I wouldn't call her if I was on fire and she was the last person with a bucket of water."

"Can't blame me for being curious," she chuckles.
