The army people were packing up again, loading their equipment back into vans as they prepared to leave campus alone once more. Major Briggs was carefully ordering everything to be loaded up carefully into the school-issued vans, as they prepared to head out.

Nailah is watching them, perched in a tree like a proper cat-bird. She knew they'd come here cause of Will, but it felt more like they were protecting an asset than anything else. At least that's how Nailah thought of them, which admittedly wasn't very favorable. Probably because they stood for a country that wouldn't really tolerate her the way she looks anymore, even if the individual people are hardly to blame for that.

"Secret Black Ops mission over?" she can't help herself from stupidly asking when the people moving equipment around come close to the tree she's in.

"Yes. I''m afraid we weren't very successful."

"In helping Will or in spying on the school?"

"Helping the subject," Major Briggs said, coming closer.

"Despite what you may have been told, we're not the bad guys, here."

"You just work for them..."

"You know, it's this attitude that really prevented anything from helping Will. We sent him here to learn and grow, when we were under no obligation to. We've sent advice and guidelines on how to keep him safe and protected, which has been summarily ignored. A little cooperation, and maybe he'd be just fine right now.

Good day, Miss Weaver."

"How's me being nicer to you gonna help Will? And we helped him plenty. We got him his memories back."

"There's a sense of hostility and a lack of cooperation from the moment we stepped on campus. Will probably would be helped more if we had taken him back to our base, where people work together.

What's done is done, though. We don't want to overstay our welcome."

Nailah frowns. "Yeah, well, sorry we're not a drilled military unit here at this school. But he's got friends here and we will figure out a way to help him." she says, feeling a little guilty, cause she can't exactly deny that her attitude towards them is a little bit hostile.

"We wish you the best of luck. We've left what little data we managed to get here, so maybe someone will figure it out at some point."

And with that, the military left, leaving the University, once again, under it's own control.
