Emilie frowned again for a moment, something she didn't make much of a habit of doing but Jez would start to realize meant she was thinking. Thinking made her sadface.

"Okay. I'll have the shop lady get it down."

"Alright, you do that. I'll get my dress while you're doing that."

"Okay." After a new minutes Emilie returned back to the dressing rooms with the dress on her head, her hair inside the neck hole.

"This is how clothes work?" She asked.

"Hey now, you break it you bought it." Jez held the door to the changing room open for Em before stepping inside herself.

"Kaaaay." Emilie follow her in and turned her back to the girl so they could change without staring at one another, which would be weird and awkward. There was much fuss and ceremony to getting off Emilie's layers of shit, as well as a lot of noise involved. Jez probably could have had time to put on several dresses by the time she was done, but once she was she flipped around to ask for Jez's opinion.

"Well?" It fit her well enough, though it was definitely dated, it was simple enough she could pull it off as long as she didn't wear dated accessories as well.

"Black is always in, and it fits you well, back and front." Jez turned around in hers, the dress a little thin for this time of year, but would work well with leggings.

"How's mine?"

"Super cute. Very Twiggy." She stated as a compliment.

"I look thin as a twig?" Jez looked confused, not understanding who Emilie was referring to. "Maybe I need a more padded bra."

"No like, the model? Super popular back in her day, she was English.

But there is nothing wrong with making the girls look good either. Most women don't wear the right size, did you know that?"

"Oh. I've never heard of her. But thank you." Jez blushed softly.

"I'd read that online a few times, but I'm not so big that I need a custom bra. And they're pretty expensive."

"Nah ya just gotta get the right one at the store is all, a good one.

Watch." Emilie wrangled her left hand behind herself and snapped the closure open with one hand, then jimmied out of her bra, being careful not to damage the dress she was wearing they technically hadn't paid for yet.

As if by magic, C became A.

"See?"

Jez's eyes went a little wide.

"Wow. Now that is impressive."

"Yea I kno right? I'm a titty wizard." She smirked.

"Admittedly it all comes down to shape and fullness, but you can play tricks to make your boobs look bigger.

This one's pretty beat, I had to sew it up to tighten it again, but it basically does it's job like new again... until my bra-hack gives entirely anyways." She laughed,appraising it in her hands. It was extremely obvious now by the fact that the hand stitching along the closure was another colour that Emilie had, indeed, used a free sewing kit from the university to force the elastic band to tighten up again with a whip stitch. It wouldn't hold like that forever though, and eventually the band itself would rip if she kept abusing it.

"One more thing to buy I guess."

"That might be a higher priority than a Halloween costume. It certainly looks like it was more comfortable than the cutlets I used to wear."

"Oh, I've had those too. I don't mind them, but they just don't work with my lifestyle.

I mean what if one pops out somewhere? Now you got one regular boob and one Godzilla boob. That's gonna get a lot of looks." She laughed, but frowned again at the thought of Halloween.

"Maybe I can get a new one once I figure out how much my costume is gonna set me back."

"So you'd rather put your money toward something you're going to wear for one night instead of something you're going to wear every day?" Jez asked while holding the middle of her dress in, trying to see how it'd look if she wore a thick belt around her waist to make it less drapey.

"normally no, but we get paid weekly and I know that i''ll be getting another check soon, where as I don't know how much a matching costume is gonna cost me nor how long it will take to make slash get in the mail so I don't want to delay purchase longer than need be."

"So who are you dressing up with anyway? Your boyfriend?"

Emilie looked at Jez for a moment before her face went from one of contemplation to a wicked grin.

"Not yet, no. Maybe someday." The answer was far more tame than her expression described.

"Ooh... this is going to be one hell of a costume." Jez gave a little smile before looking down at herself.

"I think I'm gonna get it. It's pretty cheap and I don't have a lot that's really... girly, you know?"

"Definitely. You should get it if you like it, though don't feel like you *have* to have girly stuff. Ever."

"Oh, I know. But most of my clothes are pants and hoodies and t-shirts and stuff. I think something a little more frilly might make for a change of pace. You know, for the days I'm feeling really good and want to show off a bit."

"Sure thing." She nodded, and began undressing out of what she had on herself. Having forgotten she took off her bra she swore under her breath and turned away quickly.

"Shit, sorry, ha."

Jez flushed slightly. "Hey, no worries. It's not like I don't see the same thing every morning right?" Awkward, sure, but hey they were in Europe now. They could see the same thing carved into or painted onto anything over a couple of hundred years old.

"You come and look at my nipples every morning?

That's extremely creepy. Especially since you're not my room mate."

It was pretty obvious in her tone she was picking on Jez.

"Brat." Jez scoffed and turned her back on Emilie before she began to pull her dress off over her head. From the look of her back her bra was more of a sporty variety, function over frills and form.

"I prefer impish but I'll take it." She says as she puts her patchworked brassiere back on.

"So who is your roommate anyway? Mine's a magical goddess from another plane of existence."

Jez was busy tucking her blouse into her skirt. One had to be presentable.

"She has a sword and cantrips and everything."

"Molly McFly, Mrs.Grundy incarnate. She gets tiny, I think she might get big? I dunno."

"You know, years ago I'd have probably thought this school was really weird. Now it's all like water off a duck's back."

"Shit man, this school doesn't even ping the radar for me anymore." Emilie had finished dressing in her normal clothes and peeked over her shoulder a bit to see if Jez was.

Jez finished buttoning up her blouse and zipped the side of her skirt up, all prim and proper once more. "All set chief. Now we just need to find you a blunt weapon and it'll have been a successful day."

"I think that might be a lost cause but no big deal. I'm used to those."

"Aww come on. We just need to find a pawn shop or something. We're looking at too up-scale of a place."

She made a grabby motion for the black dress. "C'mon, before you change your mind."

"My next girl can't just be anybody though. It's gotta have the right feel."

Emilie clutched the dress to her chest before reluctantly handing it over.

"I'll pay you back."

"Well maybe you'll find a girl who is experienced and has a flair you never expected." Jezabelle took the dress and laid it atop her own, along with the few belts and a pair of obnoxiously-coloured heeled boots she was carrying.

"Oh yes you will. But until then you owe me. And that gives me power." Chin down eyes up grin.

"I doubt the experience she has would put her in the pawn shop. More like an evidence locker." Emilie laughed.

"Somehow, that isn't frightening me." Emilie smirked.

Jez brought their stuff up to the counter where an older lady took her time in carefully removing all of the kitschy paper-and-twine tags that were attached to everything and carefully placing them in paper shopping bags.

"Oh, actually that does make sense. Have you considered checking the locker at school? They might've confiscated something before that they wouldn't miss."

"We have one, buuut I don't wanna outright steal it. I mean, what if someone like Trev wants to use it for it's intended purpose?"

Jez passed the clerk her card while the woman overheard their potentially incriminating conversation. "No, not THAT locker. The teams locker. You know - "
