Issue 1 - Bank Heist! (Team 1)

Char glares at Tosh but Skid waves her off. While Zephyr is pointing her gun at Sam and Tosh he slides up behind her and the gun suddenly slips from her fingers only to be snatched up by him as he wraps his arm around her neck.

"Alright then, we'll give you the police officer for her and we'll keep both Zephyr's."

Tereza had been adjusting the cold behind the moving Char, shuffling it around to keep her from walking into it just yet. "Like hell. You give us the police officer and ours and we'll give you your two," she gestured back at the unconscious shadow wielder.

Skid scrunches up his face as he's forced to make a call on which Zephyr's the real one. "Okay, deal. Bring Grue over to the desks and we'll send this Zephyr over for starters." he says, placing his hand over Zephyr's mouth.

Tereza moved over and picked up Grue, releasing the ice from the ground and pulling it off him into her hands. She dragged him over and hefted him up onto the indicated desk. "There. Even deiced him for you."

"Shut up, Char." Skid says, waiting until Tereza backs off before walking Zephyr over to the desks. He shoves Zephyr towards Tereza before hoisting Grue off of the desk and dragging him back over to Char, keeping the pistol roughly aimed at the X-Men the whole time.

Tereza hugs Zephyr like an old friend before handing her off to Trev with a whispered "Get her out to the van and get her checked out." She glanced meaningfully at Zephyr's hands before turning back to the exchange.

Zephyr looks like the gears in her head are turning like crazy. Unfortunately her best course of action seems to be to play along and hope that Skid wasn't too dumb to put two and two together. She quietly goes along with Trev to, presumably, get handcuffed and arrested.

Char roughly grabs the cop by the handcuffs behind his back and forces him on his feet, shoving him forward.

"There, trade's made," Tereza said, moving the cop behind her and ushering him towards the door.

"Great. Now back off before I blow this joint to kingdom come." Char growls as the group retreats towards the door leading tot he back that Char had emerged from following the explosion.

When Char turned around, she'd walk right through the area of cold that Tereza had created. It probably wouldn't hamper her, but Tereza wanted it to be noticeable. Tereza was wearing her "I could have had you" grin as she waits patiently for them to leave.

Char briefly turns around to snarl at Tereza before the group hurries into the back of the bank. Sam follows them out through a massive hole that Char left in the side of the building in a completely destroyed room. The vault doors are scorched but don't look like they were breached as the group probably intended. They hurry outside and through an alley until they come out on a sidewalk next to a parked white van. They drag Grue inside and Skid jumps into the driver's seat while everyone else climbs into the back.

Char eyes Sam suspiciously the entire time, mainly because she almost has a hard time believing they all made it out.

"Yeah, well, I couldn't help but notice that you failed to blow the vault door. Maybe you didn't get quite as much oomph as you thought you would. Or the stuff wears off faster than we thought."

"Well now we do and we'll just have to train some as well." Grue says. "Not today though. Just take us to the hideout and we'll get the van hidden away and then we'll call it a day, lay low for a bit."

Sam sits tight. She'll help out when it comes time to hide the van, mostly so she knows where it's hidden.

After they hide the van in the garage of an abandoned building on the outskirts of town Sam doesn't have too much trouble slipping away. Grue seems to be eager to leave himself while Char and Skid hang around the place.
