He hits the punk, but his attack doesn't seem to have as much impact as he might have expected, his hand mostly just sliding right off of the guy's face, which is sporting a shit-eating grin. "Man, whoever pulled you out of the ocean shoulda tossed your ugly mug right back in. Lemme fix that." he says before giving Tosh's shoulder a kick that sends him spinning and sliding across the floor and right into Carlos, bowling him over.

Everyone seems to be pretty much ignoring Sam.

With her previous target out of sight and two targets in front of her, Tereza aims one hand at each of them, throwing ice at both the shadow guy and the friction punk. It seems soft though, not like the ice shards she tried earlier. Clingy and animated, it almost seems to have a life of its own.

Sam then makes her way inside. If she can find a short time where she's out of view she'll try to shift into the blonde.

The shadow guy is still half out of it and frantically paws at the ice as it sticks to him, not doing a very good job at getting rid of them. The punk doesn't even seem like he cares, the ice barely even hitting him before it slips away from him.

Sam has no problem staying undetected for now and manages a pretty solid approximation of the blonde girl. Especially in the hectic chaos she'll probably pass even if it might just be a rough approximation.

Since she can't get a grip on friction punk, she shifts all her efforts to shadow guy, the ice moving to try to lock down his hands and feet.

Carlos summoned his staff, and tried to use it to vault himself over the frictionless area to deliver a flying kick to friction punk.

Conscious that she's got a limited amount of time, she tries to keep projecting the distraction she was and heads further in to figure out what's going on in there.

Tereza manages to lock him down pretty solidly, freezing his hand and feet to the ground.

Carlos manages to vault across the slippery section of the floor flawlessly, much to the punk's surprise, who had been pointing the palm of his hand at his staff only to find his power not affecting the energy construct. He's promptly kicked in the chest and thrown back against the teller's desk. Still gasping for air he pushes himself to his feet again. "Char!" he yells at nowhere in particular before trying to climb over the desk to avoid Carlos.

Tereza walked over to shadow guy, ice forming around one of her fists. "Good night," she said, her accent much thicker as she hit him hard, trying to knock him out. Only then does the mental message register as she looks around, trying to spot the blond.

Carlos wasn't gonna let frictionless slip away this time--he continued his assault, attempting to lock on a choke hold to take away the guy's air flow.

"Where?" he thought, looking around and smelling the air. "Nevermind, nosed her out."

He headed for the side room to wait beside the too-small doorway to ambush the blonde.

Shadow guy can't really do much to dodge the blow. He manages some vague darkness around him but then he's knocked out cold.

Carlos manages to get his arm around the punk's throat just before he manages to climb over the desk, which leaves him in a bad position where his legs are on the other side but Carlo's hold keep his back on the desk itself. It's not a perfect grip and he continues to squirm but there's only so much he can do when his head won't physically go past Carlos' arm.

The blonde readies her weapon and glances out the door towards the main entrance just as Tosh ducks down next to the door. She doesn't seem to have spotted him but she also doesn't appear to be coming out of the room. Then suddenly a massive explosion is set off in the back of the bank somewhere that almost seems to shake the whole building and rings through the bank floor with a thunderous boom.

The explosion startles Tereza, but she takes a moment to steady herself and try and clear her hearing while she looks towards the back of the bank.

There's a cloud of dust that billows out from the door leading to the vault, two silhouettes moving through it until they become more clear. A black-haired woman with fiery eyes is dragging a police officer who is cuffed with his own handcuffs. They're both coated in dust from head to toe. The woman kicks the police office in the back of his leg and pushes him down on his knees. The air around her begins to distort like a heat-wave. The carpet beneath Char's feet begins to darken and curl in on itself from the heat.

"Everybody back the fuck off or this guy gets turned into a coal briquette!"

The punk, Skid, scrambles away from Carlos and the desk, gasping for air.

The blonde girl, Zephyr, with the gun sees her chance and bursts from the doorway but is taken aback and stumbles when she sees Tosh's form looming over her.

"Cука, threatening a defenseless man. Are you really that frightened?" She smiled at Char. The air behind Char, a little bit beyond the shimmer, started to chill as Tereza carefully tried to prep to combat Char's heat.

Zephyr is already stumbling and when she sees Tosh reaching for her, whips her gun around and fires. The bullet hits Tosh in the chest, driving the air from his lungs with the impact. It doesn't penetrate very deep but the impact still drives a spike of pain through his chest as it punches through his thick skin and gets stopped by his ribs. Zephyr for her part keeps moving, gun swiveling around until she sees Sam. "What the fuck!?" she let's out, slowing down as she backs towards the desks where Char and Skid are with the police officer.

The sound of the gunshot doesn't even seem to phase Tereza. She continued to focus on Char. "He is right. We can certainly work this out. Let's start with you letting this man go."

Bruce cried out and stumbled a little from the impact, eyes doing that creepy dilation thing again as soon as he smelled blood. He took a growling step toward Zephyr. He snapped out of it and stopped.

"That hurt... a lot..." he hissed

"Hope you have a plan Sammy," he thought.

"How about we start with you guys backing the fuck up." she glares, although her eyes are nervously darting around the room. She doesn't seem to notice the cold area behind her but then again, it doesn't seem to be making a huge dent in Char's bubble of heat.

Tereza took a step back, glancing around a little herself to get a sense of where the sprinkler system was even as she continued to drop the temperature behind Char. She locked eyes with Char again. "I know that look. You are thinking 'how am I going to get out of here?' You are thinking about who you might have to leave behind so that you can escape. I am right, yes?"

"Excellent deduction, Sherlock." Zephyr chimes in, swinging her pistol towards Tereza while she carefully climbs over the desk while Skid and Char slowly back off towards the vault, dragging the police officer with them.

Deciding she needs to do something soon or she'll miss her opportunity, Sam steps out, still in Zephyr's form.

"It's a trick! She's one of them!" She yells, pointing at Zephyr while trying to broadcast suspicion about Zephyr to hopefully bridge whatever gaps her disguise might have.

Carlos used the distraction to try and make his way forward, staying behind as much cover as he could. If the fighting re-broke-out, he wanted to be in position.

Bruce suddenly grabbed FakeZephyr, wincing as the effort pulled at the wound and made it bleed again.

"Since you're onto us anyway, how about a trade instead?" he grinned slyly.
