Lost in Maldon

Though many students might prefer going to London, Maldon provides closer amenities for those without a car or unwilling to pay for a cab. Several pubs are available, though the Rose and Crown is notable for having been where Excalibur spent a good deal of their downtime. Also of note is the Plume Library, home to many rare books.

Ainsley had plenty of questions, but seeing as it took him so long to get her into the van due to animal brain, he'd hold off on asking them until she was a people again.

For now, he simply said- "It's okay. Everything is going to be okay now." Reassuringly.

Shari lifts her head, looking up at Ainsley, then nudges the invisible leg. "Strange thing. Can you see? Try pick up."

Ainsley runs his hands over the blank area Shari it telling him to touch, feeling for some kind of invisible object.

I mean there was a kid that was invisible so why not?

He could certainly feel something there. It felt like a... leg?

It took Ainsley several moments to figure out what sort of invisible thing he was groping, but when he got to the toes he dropped it unceremoniously and mouthed-

"What the fuck?!"

"Sorry." Shari tells him, tilting her head sheepishly. "Warn people. Invisible things. Attacking."

He was wiping his hands on his pants.

"A mutant? A student?"

"Feeding?" He asked, uncertain if she meant her on it, or it on something else.

"Okay. " He relented.

"Don't run where I can't follow." He added, settling in to decide how he was going to get the invisible limb to Ashley.
