"As I said," Wanda says softly, "things to work on." She holds out both her hands, palms up.

She takes a deep breath before clasping Wanda's hands.

"...we can make this fair. We can make this what you want, what you need."

"Just... don't leave me alone again."

"We'll make this what you want and need too," Wanda says, squeezing Isolde's hands. As she does so, the connection opens back up and the sensations flood in both directions.

There's a fading undercurrent of frustration and loneliness, rapidly being washed over by simple relief.

"...thank you," she murmurs.

"Should we tell your friend I didn't eat you?"

Isolde picks up on the young woman approaching the door before she appears in the doorway, "I guessed as much, since my windows were still intact and I hadn't heard thunder."

"That's between me and her," the young woman says with a mischievous grin.

Wanda shakes her head, "Isolde, this is Kara. She's a friend and something of a kindred spirit for me in spiritual matters."

"I was meaning to talk to the Headmistress about that. Glad to see it got taken care of," Wanda says.

"I'll just go get the plates served up then," Kara says, heading back towards the kitchen.

"You sure you don't need any help?" Wanda calls after her.

"No. I'm all set. There's not enough room in the kitchen for us all anyway."
