"Maybe you should look into a hammock. It wouldn't take up as much floorspace as three beds."

"Putting three people in a hammock sounds like a recipe for disaster."

"Maybe you're right, but a Murphy bed doesn't seem to be particularly possible, either.

I guess you're either going to have to accept less floor space, or recruit your friendly neighborhood shapeshifter to serve as a bed that can go away when you're not sleeping," he said, before catching himself.

"You're aware that we don't just sleep in the beds, right?" Tereza says with a smirk.

"Yes," Will said, his cheeks turning a bright crimson. "But I assume the Washer at the Ford knows where the laundromat is."

"So you're okay with that?" It sounded like curiosity.

"I mean," he said, looking around at the odd looks he was gathering from other patrons. "I only offer it to be helpful, you know. I was just thinking how crowded it would be otherwise..." he backpedaled. "But we can come up with some other solution that works better for you..."

"If you just want to go through the wash, you could've just asked."

"That's not it," Will signed. "Ok, that IS it, but if all I wanted was a trip through the wash, I promise you, you wouldn't notice the extra sock. And if I wanted to EARN that trip through the wash, I'd just hide in your sock pile until you changed. That's not the issue.

I can't tell you if you'll always be together, or whether you'll be able to resist the feral call of the wolves, or if you'll ascend to godhood. I can't tell you if you'll love each other till the end of time, or if you'll try to kill each other in six months, or if you'll fall on a mission in ten years. I can't.

But there are things I CAN do, and when I see and hear you guys struggling with problems I can fix, I go out of my ever - loving mind.

Tereza, I didn't enjoy showering with you because you have a smoking hot bod; although yes, I'll admit that the intimacy is.... fun. I enjoyed it because it was problem - solving; you needed help, no matter how banal, and I wad there. When you talked about how good you smelled after using me, that's a feeling of contentment I can't describe in words.

So yes. I like fixing things for people I love, and the three of you are the closest I have to family here. I can't stop the full moon from taking you, but I can be the stag you hunt down and drag in front of your fireplace as a trophy. I can't satisfy the need to fight the Morrigan has, but I can be the punching bag she wrecks to blow off steam. I can't buy you a large apartment, but I can be the moving van that gets your stuff there or the sports car you tool around in after. I can't change the weather, but I can be your fur coat when it's cold or your popsicle when it's hot. I can be your friend and all those things at the same time.

So, to answer your original question, Tereza? If I minded? It couldn't be further from the truth. Hell, of the three of you needed help being intimate, I can do more than just be your bed. As long as you wash the sheets afterwards.

I owe you guys more than I could ever pay back. So when I see you have problems, no matter how stupid or small, I'd like to solve them. I don't want to lose my identity; we just fought, and won, to keep it. But part of my identity could be being a sick leather jacket or a stick of gum or a poster on the wall. I'm still Will while doing that, but I'm the MOST Will when I'm filling a hole, no matter how small.

After the orders were placed and the waiter had left, Tereza nods, "And I think we can accommodate that, or at least I'm willing to. I can't speak for the others," she adds, looking at Sam and Viv.

"I can't even speak for myself. I don't know why I'm rambling so much today," Will muttered.

"I didn't realize you felt so strongly about it, Will."

"I normally don't say things like this, because, you know, many people find it either weird as fuck or actively creepy. Maybe I'm just loopy from the punching, I don't know."

"I'm pretty confident that we want you to be happy too, Will. So I think we can figure out how to make that happen. And if there's any group that's going to be hard to weird out, it's this one."

"Be careful what you wish for," he smiled. "There's always a line, even if you're not aware of it at the time."

"I just, you know. I'm not a charity case or something. I want the three of you to live happily ever after and all that. I don't want to get in the way or something. I'd just like to be around, somewhere or other, as something or other, as needed."

"I'm sure Viv would've objected by now if her mouth wasn't full," she teases.

"Nothing but the finest, exotic faux cheeses for the fairy princess, " Will smiled.

Vivienne pushed her second basket away blushing.

"You are a friend, if you wish to use your skills when and if you see a need, then offer. There have been a few items you have become that or offered to become...that have weird me out, so to speak, but that does not change my affection and appreciation of you."

"See, that's what I worry about. You can't unsay things, and you can't undo things. There may come a point where I try to do something, and you'll hate it, or find it disturbing. And I can apologize and back off, but I'm still That Guy Who Did That Thing forever, you know."

Will grabbed one of the chips and chewed on it thoughtfully. "And especially with three of you in the equation, it becomes that much harder, because the other two will want to support the third no matter what, so it's three sets of landmines I need to avoid stepping on."

"One thing I have learned with us, the three of us in specific, when we act without involving the others it is disastrous. Perhaps, ask first if you see a need you feel you can fill. You are a new friend, it will take time to learn your quirks, the way you joke, the way you think. It will take time for us all to learn each other, but I am willing build a relationship with you are if you are."

"See, I'm afraid of even asking. Normally, I wouldn't have even dared say this much, out of fear of being judged...but today's been a very strange day for some reason."

"I think we'll deal with things as we come to them," Tereza says, "But I think all three of us agree there is a place for you here."

"Well, I don't take up very much space when I don't want to, so I'd hope there wss space for me anywhere, " Will joked.
