Emilie had more or less gathered a plan to try to con the young man who sold her the Vespa into talking to her.

She first gave him a call, hoping he'd pick up.

He picked up almost immediately with an exasperated sigh.

"Look, if this is about the listing for the Blur vinyl, they're not for sale. My fiance put them on Craigslist without asking me."
