"It's insult to injury." Victor caught the thing with both hands before he slipped it back into his pocket, not bothering to check it. It was his decoy after all. Meant to be something he tossed if someone tried to mug him.

"But that's good to know. That's a skill I'm not well-suited to." He held up his hand and wiggled his fingers. "Not the right shape."

"Recognizing one's strong suits and shortcomings is important. Having long, slender fingers with the ring and middle finger at equal lengths makes grabbin' things out of pockets easier. So instead on focusing on that, I work on other areas where I can excel instead.

"Knowing someone who can grab a keycard or ID badge, well that's definitely advantageous."
