DetDee99> Actually, how risky *is* getting into the student records?
Unknown> To do it well and cover my tracks? Pretty difficult. I'll have to make it look like it's someone else doing it, someone with a technopath, because I have to assume they'll have ways to look for that tampering. Only a couple of potential sources of those, so I have to minimally crack them to make it look like they're the ones doing the hack in case it's discovered. It'd be easier if I could get close to the servers the records are on, but my normal access doesn't work anymore.
DetDee99> Unfortunately, I think now we do need to see what's in their files and, maybe more importantly, our own files.
Unknown> Okay. This might take some time.

Natalie Denisov wrote:Natalie, in the meantime, was busy bouncing requests between servers, creating a tangled web of nonsense that vaguely pointed fingers at Russia without anything concrete. With that done, she starts trying to worm her way into the school's systems to attempt to retrieve the student records.
Natalie Denisov wrote:User access would at least let her peruse the files and with her memory, a look was almost as good as a download. It might not be whatever hyper secret files they might be maintaining, but it'd have to be good enough for the moment. She starts by querying Tereza's file, then Sam's and Vivienne's, then the prefects' files, working her way out in a web that played into the Russia charade.
"Oh, great, the wrigglewart is here. I guess that proves there's always room for Jell-O"
Unknown> I've got nothing but bad news.
Unknown> They are treating the prefects with *something*. Coincides with some students missing power training and is on roughly the same schedule. No idea what it is.
Unknown> There's also some sort of video feed attached to Will, going to take a stab that what he sees, the admin sees.
DetDee99> Holy shit. And the rest of us?
DetDee99> Also, that's some creepy Big Brother shit.
Unknown> Pretty detailed information on our power training and limitations, looks to be taken from power training classes. Also some notes about what I think are genetic similarities between similar powers.
Unknown> In the process of trying to recreate the files I've seen from memory.
DetDee99> So... L's starting to look like a mad scientist. Or at least an unethical one.
DetDee99> Too bad your memory isn't evidence.
Unknown> Downloads can be traced because they *go* somewhere.
DetDee99> Then do you think you could get that digital evidence to X-Corp when the time comes?
Unknown> I can do my best.
