[Issue] Eil Mor, the Second Titan

Though many students might prefer going to London, Maldon provides closer amenities for those without a car or unwilling to pay for a cab. Several pubs are available, though the Rose and Crown is notable for having been where Excalibur spent a good deal of their downtime. Also of note is the Plume Library, home to many rare books.

Ennio smirked before turning into Kabuto again right in the middle of the creature, hoping the sudden change in size would get him the rest of the way and do even more damage.

"It's working up to something big! Massive wave incoming!" Wanda reports as she pushes herself out to meet the wave. Most of what she could do would actively make the wave worse, even stalling it would just make it build more, if not for here then for somewhere else, but here and now is the concern. She hovers in front of the wave, pulling on her power as she shoves a massive wind force at the wave itself, trying to push the wave as much as she can.

Flying out towards it Wanda is dwarfed by the wave but the wind whipping around her builds until she slams it into the wave. At first it doesn't do much but skim water off the surface but then she notices that where the wind is disrupting the water, Eil Mor's control over it weakens and parts of it collapse back into the estuary. She can feel the wear on her as well as the world at large (there'll probably be some nasty winds in store for the UK in the coming days) but she's keeping the wave from reaching critical mass and buying them some time.

Time Tosh/Ennio/Kabuto desperately need. His enlarged shape pushes back against the Titan's innards trying to crush him but it leaves him with even less room to move, his fingers less than an inch from the twitching core as he fights against the gelatinous mass. And with one last push of his considerable strength he reaches far enough, his hand grasping the grapefruit-sized mass. The unnatural shape collapses back into a solid sphere in his hand, but even in a less fragile shape Kabuto's hand closes around it like a vice... and after a couple heartbeats there's a sundering crack he can feel all the way up to his shoulder.

All around Kabuto the gelatinous mass falls away as it loses cohesion, melting down into nothing but water and even that slowly evaporates as he slowly descends to the ground in a deflating mass of jellyfish.

Out over the water Wanda's final swell of air wears away the last lingering effects of the Titan's control over it and the water falls back towards the ocean rather than the town. Some of it will come back, but the (hopefully) coming low-tide should off-set any serious flooding.

And Sam continues to lie on the floor, unresponsive.

Will -- or bits of him, at least -- washed up on the muddy banks of the river, coughing and hacking (perhaps more out of habit than out of necessity).

"Bloody hell," he spat, trying to regain his senses.

Kabuto got to his feet, grateful not to be covered in jellyfish guts.

"Huzzah! The day is saved!" he announced heroically.

The lone figure out over the water continues to hover there for a few moments, looking around. Finally, Wanda's voice comes over the com, sounding very tired. "I have some things that need seeing to. I'll check in later." The figure's angle changes and heads away, northward along the coast.

Spotting the unconscious Sam, Tosh pushed his way back to the surface of his mind and returned to his normal self. He rushed over to check on her.

"Umm... guys? I may have broken Sam," he said into his uncannily durable comm.

"It might be," Will admitted. "Or it might not. Astral stuff is...confusing, to say the least."

He did what he could to try to make sure the still larger-than-life Sam's head stayed above water.

After a while of Sam still not having come to, a crew from the school arrives to secure the crashed plane while another van pulls up right next to the waiting Will. Stepping out of the side-door is Ashlie of all people, wearing her usual style of white suit but with a transparent overcoat and bright yellow rainboots. She looks probably more confused than anybody else as to why she's here.

"Excellent work preventing even worse." she says with a nod at those still present. "Is Morrigan okay?" she goes on, looking down at where Sam is lieing on the soggy ground.

"It would have, a few months ago," Will nodded. "Just think of it as a complicated traceroute, for an old operating system. And we are at a ford. Kind of. Sort of. I've seen worse."

Will waves his hands in the murky water for a few moments, and rubbed some of the mud and grime on his chest, as he prepared. "If you've gained some squeamish tendencies since getting flesh and blood, you may not want to watch this," he warned, before shifting his left hand into a long, ornate blade, concentrating to make sure the patterns of knots and lines on it were just right.

"Sith co nem
Nem co doman
Doman fo ním
Nert hi cach
An forlann
Lan do mil
Mid co saith

As Will chanted, he took the blade across his chest, cutting into the flesh and tracing some sort of pattern, blood beginning to drip down and mix with the muck of the water.

"Gai for sciath
Sciath for durnd
Dunad lonngarg
Longaiter tromfoíd
Fod di uí
Ross forbiur
Benna abu
Airbe imetha
Mess for crannaib

Will continued to chant, and carve...
