Sep 12 - Familiar Taste of Poison

It was a quiet night at the Rose and Crown, some of the recent unpleasantness in Maldon keeping casual customers temporarily away. Tereza had just started, but since there wasn't a lot to do at the moment, she was spending time behind the bar with the bartender on duty, learning the ropes there. She was currently restocking the various glasses, just to stay busy.

Lorenzo walks in and takes a look around before taking a seat at the bar.

"You take this one," the bartender tells Tereza before moving down to take care of something else.

"What can I get you?" Tereza asks, setting the tray of glasses aside.

[Lorenzo Cavallo]

Lorenzo looked over what they had available and eventually selected one of the pale lagers they had on tap.

"Are you new? I've only been in here a few times."

[Tereza Rozanov]

She drew the glass for him, "Yeah, just started recently. Earning a little extra money for school."

[Lorenzo Cavallo]

"That could be useful." He said before taking a sip.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Money is generally considered useful in all walks of life," she said with a chuckle.

[Lorenzo Cavallo]

"Yes it is." He smiled.

"Unless of course you live in one of those remote primitive tribes where they find the concepts of modern society silly."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Well, we don't live in one of those, so money continues to be a necessity."
