[Miriam Bell]

"Oh, I'm sure. Having a not-so-impartial observer or an extra pair of hands or two at your beck and call sounds like quite the experience..."

[Trinity]

"We could show you," said the one on the left with a smirk. "Just a taste for now," said the one on the right. Miriam could sense a controlled opening in their shields, not unlike an observation bubble on a building.

[Miriam Bell]

"How could I say no to that?" she smiles and lets her mind reach out for the offered opening.

[Trinity]

It was only a taste as promised, but Trinity was obviously synchronizing and assimilating three sets of perceptions and experiences at the speed of thought. A memory passed by the bubble replaying the amorphous sensations from one the experiments that Trinity had alluded to earlier. The full set of experience contained in that one memory was a little intoxicating.

[Miriam Bell]

Miriam draws a sharp breath at the sensation. She's felt the blurring of two minds before, but even under the best circumstance it was always dissonant and paled in comparison to this perfectly orchestrated chord. For a moment her mind drifts, considering the possibilities of what harmonies one could compose. With some effort she reminds herself not to get too lost, not to trust Trinity too much. This is as much amazing as it is a weakness that could be exploited if necessary by introducing discord, which opens up a whole other realm of atonal possibilities...

Miriam almost forcefully withdraws and shakes out her hair a little, trying to clear her head. "That's... incredible."

[Trinity]

"Isn't it though?" Trinity said. All three of them were smiling at her. "Can you imagine anyone wanting to give that up?"

[Miriam Bell]

"I'm not about to step into a lover's quarrel, am I?"

[Trinity]

"Oh her? No, of course not. Like I said, she's our friend. We're not stepping on someone else's toes are we?"

[Miriam Bell]

"Not at all, no."

[Trinity]

"Excellent. You intrigue us."

[Miriam Bell]

"I suppose it's not everyday that you meet someone who can appreciate your unique allure." she smiles.

[Trinity]

"People who actually appreciate what we can do are so few and far between," the triplet in the middle says. "Too many of the mundanes are afraid of us."

[Miriam Bell]

"People fear what they don't understand. Not to mention when they're outnumbered." she smirks.

[Trinity]

"Some people apparently find the idea of being outnumbered appealing," she said with a smirk of her own.

[Miriam Bell]

"What can I say, I'm not easily intimidated."

[Trinity]

"Good to know. We can appreciate someone who can hold their own. Would you care to have dinner with us? Get to know us better?"

[Miriam Bell]

"That sounds splendid. Did you have any place in particular in mind?"

[Trinity]

"I believe I can get us into The Secret Garden," Trinity said after a moment's thought. "If that sounds good to you."

[Miriam Bell]

"Certainly. Formal attire?"

[Trinity]

"Yes, assuming you have objection."

[Miriam Bell]

"Not at all, just making sure. I wouldn't want to be under-dressed."

[Trinity]

"Not for the start of the night, at least," smirked the triplet on the right. All three of them stood, "Until then, Mnemosyne."

[Miriam Bell]

"It was my pleasure." she smiles and gets up herself.

[Trinity]

All three triplets nodded and faded into the traffic on the street. Traffic that didn't seem to notice their passing.
