I2DT: There are no fingerprints deep underwater

Though many students might prefer going to London, Maldon provides closer amenities for those without a car or unwilling to pay for a cab. Several pubs are available, though the Rose and Crown is notable for having been where Excalibur spent a good deal of their downtime. Also of note is the Plume Library, home to many rare books.

I2DT: There are no fingerprints deep underwater

Postby Emilie » Wed Oct 07, 2015 12:39 am

((Tuesday Sept 23rd))

Emilie had left a note for Trev at his dorm room that her and her friend would meet him at the gates of the school at the agreed upon time so they could walk into town together. Emilie wasn't as dolled up as she liked to be, but she also wasn't going to turn down an opportunity to ingratiate herself to someone not Victor just because she looked so... plain.

Emilie knew how this worked. Eventually they'd find out, if they hadn't already. And eventually they may start to suspect her of other things, evil intentions she didn't have. The better she got in with the other students and faculty now, the less likely they would be to kick her out later.

And anyways, Trev was her kinda bud.

As she waited for the two she began to sing to herself.

"It's a party of three
Just you and me and this psychotic ninja every girl's dream
Don't make sudden movements~"

"What's that about Psychonauts?"

Victor was dressed in... a suit? Sort of. It was definitely a blazer - a black one, with a nice subtle orange dress shirt beneath, and a pair of matching black slacks over some bright orange Chucks. Nothing was tucked in so that kind of defeated the purpose of the jacket.

"That game is awesome."

Emilie thought the both of them were probably a bit early, but she knew that was usual for him so she planned to be too.

"Nothing about Tim Schafer at all." She replied. She tilted her head a bit. "You trying to match me or sommat?"

Emilie was wearing one of the few outfits she had, her black deconstructed tee-shirt dress over her galaxy print leggings she had arrived in, and a grey tank underneath so no one saw her bra poking out. Over it was her leather jacket, and her only pair of shoes, her Doc's.

"The orange is only on my head."

"Ohhh, so you're trying to compete with British boys for female attention.

Trust me your accent isn't that cute. Also I'm pretty certain all the really nice princesses might think you're oogly because you're from the commonwealth.

That's like, Yank light." She laughed. "Half the obnoxiousness, double the shame."

"Well, I was more about tryin' to blend in so that I don't get pelted with rocks or something, but your reason sounds better so let's go with that."

Victor considered himself to be pretty lucky, as far as mutants went. After all, there were no physical indications that he carried the X-Gene. Other students weren't as fortunate if they wanted to go out in public.

Victor rolled his eyes a bit. "I can't talk to a girl and her not be my girlfriend, can I? If it were that easy..."

She might want to eat your intestines for fun though." Emilie joked. She hadn't lifted up her glasses yet.

Trev walked up and noticed Vic wearing a suit, and he suddenly wondered if he had missed something as he looked down on his jeans and untucked button down shirt.

"Did I miss a memo or something?" he asked cheerfully, nodding at Vic.

Emilie turned her attention from her not-boyfriend to the male who had arrived. Being that she knew things about him already, she had to be certain not to say too much about Trevor and more about Victor during introductions.

"Ahh, there ya are.

Victor Freud, this is Trevor Anderson. He's from Chicago, Illinois. He likes beer, and baseball, specifically the White Sox 'cuz fuck 'dem Cubbies.

Emilie didn't look at Victor and kept her back to him as she walked and responded in her matter-of-fact tone.

"Well Slick, I can't speak for the rest of the fifty-one percent of us but I think I can safely say all the mind's I've blown have been figurative, not literal.

I like to think of myself as a problem solver. You let me know if you need my services."

Then she changed the subject off Victor's woman fear. "What do we do for fun around here besides eat?" She asked , not specifying the question to either if them.
