One of the triplets that made up Trinity put the headset on. "She's been trying to make contact all day," Bitshift said nervously, "I told her I'd put her through as soon as you were available."

Trinity frowned, "Run your usual interference. I really don't want her knowing where we are if she's trying to trace us."

"I'll do what I can," Bitshift said as he tensed, "Connecting... now."

"This is Trinity. ... We're getting close to the target. ... You can be impatient all you like, but it won't get the job done any faster. ... Look, I'm the one who has to figure out how to get this done without bringing down the wrath of the X-Men on my head, so I would appreciate it if you would leave me alone to hold up my end of the bargain. ... Yes, I understand how crucial this is for you. We made a deal, we intend to hold up our end so long as you hold up yours and your impatience is starting to irritate me and make me suspicious that you're thinking about going back on the deal. ... Your assurances are nice, but I'm running this operation and I'll do it on my own timetable." She made a cutting motion with her hand and Bitshift relaxed.

"She sounded mad," he said.

"She's a bitch," Trinity responded. "I'm going to enjoy killing her some day."
