She shrugs. "It's honestly one of the least disastrous things that's happened this semester."

"Oh, that seems harsh. Has it really been that bad here?"

"Not... really? Just, you know, in comparison."

"To Muir?" Will asked, a little pointedly. "To expectations? To what you hoped for?"

"I guess I'm just saying that having had a lousy date doesn't really rate compared to nasty little fairies that want to eat our faces? Or time traveling vikings? Or you being trapped in your own head?"
