"How good are you?"

"I'm the best," he said, simply.

"Oh really?"

"Yes."

"World champion?" he asked curiously.

"I....was, I suppose," he said, frowning.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to open any wounds."

"No, it's alright.

I won the World Juniors Judo tournament last year, but was disqualified when they discovered I had traces of Mutant Growth Hormone."

"Sounds like a bunch of jealous tossers to me."

"I suppose I made that argument, if not in so many words."

"Does your power even effect your skills?"

[Carlos Vasquez]

"From what the doctors tell me, it helps me get the most out of training. Emphasis on training."

"Ugh... Any excuse to stick it to the mutie."

"It seems like it, yes. I won, fair and square."

"At least you know you did right? Hell, it's more than I've ever accomplished."

"They still took it away, no? They refused to acknowledge it."

"Use some of that skill to kick some ass on the X-Men then," he smirked.

"That's the idea. I'll get my good name back."
