"Me? Yeah. You?"

"Yeah, I'm doing alright.

...This isn't really your scene, is it?"

She looks like she's about to object, but then she sighs and looks at the table, "No. I don't do this much... ever really."

"Well, what do you do? If I wasn't here, what would you be doing?"

"I'd probably be in the workshop, ignoring the rest of the world," she says, continuing with the confessional.

"Well, then, when we've gotten food, why don't we go to the workshop? See what's happening down there.

Seriously, Natalie, you are who you are. You don't have to change anything to impress people; people who are worth hanging out with will come do what you're doing."

"But..." She stops and sighs. "I'm really not that interesting."

"Oh, come on," Will said, shaking his head. "That's not true. Everyone's interesting, if you look at them in the right light. And people who don't find who you are interesting aren't really people you want to hang out with, anyway."

She continues to study the table with a significant amount of interest. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have held you to this. You were drunk at the time. It was stupid of me." She fishes into her purse and puts some money on the table. "Enjoy your meal. I'll call myself a cab."

"Woah, woah, what? Natalie, come on, what did I say?" Will said, standing up awkwardly. "What's up?"

She bites her lip and schools herself back into politeness, 'Nothing. It was nothing you said. It's really not you. You're wonderful. It's me." She sets the keys to the car on top of the money. "Enjoy your evening," she says, stepping around the approaching concerned waiter and making for the door.

"Wha, Natalie..." Will said, as she headed out the door.

"...Geez, you think you have someone figured out," he said, sitting back down and scratching his head.
