Victor though that commenting on how fucked up this was was a little unnecessary and probably wouldn't have helped matters any, so he mostly just watched.

The first song has ended, but the next sounds like it's from the same singer.

"You push me when I`m falling
And then you put me down
I guess I missed my calling
I should have been a clown"

Sean stared at the bike and tired to focus on seeing the ghost occupying the motorcycle itself quietly speaking the words for a scrying spell so as not to disturb the others. At the very least maybe he could learn a bit more about the spirit.

To Sean's eyes as he starts the spell, the moped seems soaking wet, actually dripping water.

How much more can I stand
You're pouring water
On a drowning man"

Sean continues the scrying spell, but moves closer to the bike somewhat certain it wasn't about to turn into some kind of monstrous amalgamation of steel and ectoplasm or well... run him over. As he continues the scrying spell he places a hand on the front of the moped and traces the runes that make up the spell hoping to get a better connection with the ghost.

Sean can feel the dampness on his fingertip as he traces the runes.

He gets flashes of a pretty girl as he reaches the seat cushion.

Another flash. Slender hands clasped around the waist of a sport coat, a narrow tie dangling above.

And then you put me down
You stab me in the back
Every time I turn around"

Sean tries to focus the scrying spell on the girl who flashed by maybe she was the key? Everything else seemed to be focused on her in the songs the radio was playing after all.

There's a few happy moments. Her laughter over a shoulder while riding through what looks to be Brighton.

Another perspective. Kneeling? Looking up at her. Trembling hands open a jewelry box.

Her face looking down, sadly shaking her head.

A new song has come on.

"I can hardly bear the sight of lipstick
On the cigarettes there in the ashtray
Lying cold the way you left them
At least your lips caressed them while you packed
And a lip print on a half filled cup of coffee
That you poured and didn't drink
But at least you thought you wanted it
And that's so much more than I can say for me"

"An engagement denied," Sean said slowly trying not to break his hold on the spell which was beginning to wear him down. He tried to keep the spell going to get more details about their death... together? the ghost's death by himself?

Fleeting glimpses. Seeing her on the street. A cautious wave. Her head turning away.

Her face lights up. She's running, but not towards Sean's point of view.

Another boy. Black jeans. A leather jacket. He scoots forward on his motorcycle, and she climbs on behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist.

Looking down at hands on the handlebars of the same moped that's in the room with them. Starting the engine...

"But what a good year for the roses
Many blooms still linger there
The lawn could stand another mowing
It's funny, I don't even care
And when you turned and walked away
And as the door behind you closes
The only thing I know to say
It's been a good year for the roses"

The images were a little disorienting to experience. He wondered how telepaths must feel dealing with this all the time .

Sean glanced over at Emily

"Let's find out, aye?" Sean said and reached a hand into a pocket. He knew he most likely needed a closer link to the spirit in order to see things clearer. He pulled out a pocket knife and used it cut his thumb. He used the cut thumb to trace the runes of the scrying spell. Reality seemed to groan, shadows deepened as Sean tapped power that human blood shouldn't have

Brighton rushing by. Seeing the motorcycle ahead. Gunning the gas and overtaking the bike near the pier.

A swerve towards the bike. The bike swerves back and the world goes spinning. The moped overhead, coming down fast on Sean as he crashes into saltwater.

The song breaks up, and another takes its place.

"I want you
You've had your fun, you don't get well no more
I want you
Your fingernails go dragging down the wall
Be careful darling, you might fall
I want you
I woke up and one of us was crying
I want you
You said 'Young man I do believe you're dying'
I want you"

Sean felt dizzy, and a little nauseous, because of the swerving and spinning . It made him lean heavily onto the front of the moped.

"Should be fine," Sean said taking the compact, "And I'm sure somebody at this school can make me a fancy 3D printed prosthetic if it all goes sideways."

He opened the compact and turned the mirror towards the moped holding. With his other hand he made a series of hand gestures and began to chant the pieces to a spell. It was a derivation of a scrying spell. Similar to what people tried to do during seances but well, it was actually magic and not smoke and mirrors. Something inside Sean told him to alter bits and pieces of the spell as he went creating a spell that was better woven together.
