"That's... interesting," Sean said, "I don't recall doing so consciously. She was just there one day and then I used a spell to open a pathway so I could pull her here not long after."

"She's definitely connected to you somehow. The last room I found had... they looked like they could be your parents, Sean. And I think I saw the dwarf there, too."

Sean had a very strong reaction to this information images and sounds passed through Sean's mind. Unnatural eyes, a voice saying everything would be okay, and then screaming. A series of images as a figure's skeleton pulled itself from their own skin, shedding what had made them alive.

"The dwarf seems to be everywhere," Sean said sounding a little subdued.

"Well okay, but if I remember all those deaths and they happened before... I mean I guess maybe I existed but in a bunch of little pieces." she comes to a conclusion that seems to make sense to her. "I don't remember any dwarves though..."

"There was a man who looked a lot like you, and a woman giving birth. Then the dwarf stabbed them both."

"I don't know," Sean said, "I don't have any memories of my parents. I was a toddler when the nuns found me. The only thing they knew was that I was covered in blood and that I was adopted only a week over."

"The dwarf gave me the spell that unlocked the path between dimensions. The key of nebuchadnezzar."

"Why's any of that inside of me though?"

"I don't know. It was kind of... separated from the rest?"

"That's odd, isn't it? Having something like that in her... head, mindscape or whatever it's called," Sean asked a bit out of his depth when it came to telepathy and the astral itself.

"It definitely wasn't one of my deaths. I'd remember that. But it might explain why Sean seemed so familiar..."

"Maybe you signed your work without knowing it?"

"Granted, as much as I'm talking about you making her, it's a moot point. She's real now. In a lot of ways, she's a little realer than real."

"Realer than real?" Sean asked not fully processing that Hannah might be his work.

"She's more solid than most constructs. She's more solid than most minds."

"And yet..." she says, waving her hand in and out of the floor. The one she's sitting on.

"Yet you're sitting on it," Sean smiled. "The only major working I have used recently was the key, which..."

Sean gets quiet for a moment and pulls out his notes and the page of the Darkhold hed translated. Something from the ritual before made him think that maybe the spell wasn't a gate? The pages from Summoning Spirits and Demons indicated that Nebuchadnezzar had been able to make spirits and djinn real.

"Physical objects don't matter for the kind of solid you are. Astral objects do."

"Like the birds...?"

"...aye. Sorry if that hurt, and all."

"It's... alright. Guess I'm used to it." she says with bit of a brave smile. "At least you found out something I didn't even know about..."

Sean stared at his notes, but after only a few moments realized this was going to take more time. Though he was at least reasonably certain that the spell he'd used didn't "open" anything. The spell, notes, and the results of the ritual they'd performed all pointed towards the same thing.

"Well, I'm reasonably certain that I didn't open a gateway using this spell," Sean said, "I'm also thinking that the working I used to... well, intended to use to save you actually created you here. Wrote you into existence even, possibly. I could make you... able to interact with the world given time to study how this spell actually works."

"I'm... leaning towards 'assembled' more than 'created,' Sean. You didn't make the parts she's got in there. They're older than you."

"I only meant to say I made her here on our plane," Sean said, "But you're right... Assembled is a much more proper way of putting it. Just put the pieces together and gave them form here on our plane."

"Golly gee, that sounds so much better. I'm not Humpty-Dumpty. Right...?"

"You're not nearly egg shaped enough for that," Sean said with a slight smile. "You are you, but you're made up of a bunch of different pieces that maybe didn't go together originally?"

He looked at Sam as he ended that statement/question as she was the one who'd actually been inside Hannah's head.

"They do seem to go together fairly well. I just think maybe they didn't add up to a person before."

"That's rich, coming from a bunch of birds."

"The 'bunch of birds' is a person," Sean said, "And so are you. There's just a lot of weirdness from magic and the astral going on. Means you'll fit in quite well on this campus."

"I'm not meaning it to diminish you at all. You're no less real for it."

"Lot of weirdness sounds about right..."

"This is just the tip of the iceberg for weird here," Sean joked weakly.
