The next morning, when Isolde wakes up, Wanda is sitting outside the cell with a paper bag in one hand. "Good morning," she says, smiling at Isolde.

Isolde slowly stirs, sitting up.

"I swear, whatever deviltry they put into the fabric makes these suits hellish to sleep in."

"...how long have you been there?"

"Long enough to let Tereza out. I decided I'd let you sleep until I was worried about the food getting cold," she says, holding up the paper bag.

"Ah, she was probably smirking like the cat who ate the canary the whole time."

"She was indeed. Radiating smugness if such a radiation is possible." She steps up and undoes the lock on the cell, "I take it you told her."

"Guess you wanted to keep it from her just to be difficult at first," she smirks, reaching into the bag to pull out some sort of breakfast burrito thing and handing the rest of the bag over to Isolde.

"She doesn't have to know. It's not as if I'm planning out double-dates or anything," she says as she takes the bag and sniffs at it before withdrawing its contents.

It seemed to be breakfast food, heavy on the breakfast meat. "Of course not. But we are planning on some dates right," she teases.

"...ask me when I can come up with something better than laying a freshly-killed hart at your feet," she grumbles as she withdraws the bag's contents and starts to eat.

"I know, I know. You need a few days. Shame the Raven's Crest is closed. Would be nice to have a mutant-friendly place to go."

"Not sure we'd want to go there unless you really wanted an extra dose of smug."

"Well, the owner's missing and the place was damaged, so it's not like it'd be an option soon anyways. Sean said it'd have to be something big to take her out."

"...it would," she frowns.

"But she's more likely to go to ground if something comes up."

"The news report said something about a fire, but sounded like it didn't do too much damage. Guess we'll just have to find somewhere else to go."

"Only true if your date cares. Which I don't. I mean it was ages ago that the two of you were a thing, right?" Wanda raise an eyebrow.

"Honestly, I expected this to be just another moon. I'd done several standing on my head back when the headmistress was still keeping me in a cell full-time."
