One Misty, Moisty Morning

The site of the recently restored Braddock Lighthouse. Aircraft hangars and other X-Men facilities, including a Cerebra unit and the Danger Room have been constructed around the foundations of the lighthouse.

Mission gear was stacked next to the ramp of the Blackbird and from inside was the sounds of moving around as Tereza went through the pre-flight checklist on the various systems. Gemma was standing well out of the way, doing her best not to touch anything that looked important.

The hangar doors opening in the cliff-face overlooking the ocean - aside from disturbing a flock of birds perched on the rocks - draws the attention of the large otter who absolutely is not hanging around near the school and is only here entirely coincidentally. And the hangar opening can only mean that people are preparing to move out. The cliff would be a challenging climb for a human, but for a shapeshifting otter it doesn't pose much of an obstacle and soon Shari pokes her head over the edge of the hangar entrance, peering inside.

"Did anybody have any luck finding Shari?" Her voice echoes along the metal of the hangar.

"I've been having trouble picking her up, and getting the jet was pulling teeth. I wasn't about to push my luck and ask if Cerebra is ready."

Shari let's out a yip that echoes through the open space, then pulls herself up onto the hangar floor proper as she bounces towards the jet.

Ainsley had gotten wind that 'something weird' was going on and he wondered if it had anything to do with the stuff Sean had been looking into for Shari. So he showed up to the summons to see if he could be of help.

He was wearing a hoodie and a backpack full of his possessions.

A short young man made his way up the boarding ramp, knocking on the edge of the aperture as though he were going door to door selling cookies.

"Knock knock. Any seats left?" Dressed in a pink sports coat, tie and Chucks over black trousers and dress shirt, Victor looked... well he kind of looked like he should be on the cover of Far Cry 4, or selling used cars in Miami.

Seeing someone come in looking for seats, Will unbuckled from his slot and shuffled further into the back, pressing himself up against the bulkhead.

Sean walked up the ramp into the plane. His wore several rings on each hand including a new one made of wood. He didn't hide his amazement at the blackbird. Probably wouldn't have done a terribly good job hiding it anyways.

"Bit more stylish than the vampire hive mission," Sean smiled.

Having finished the last few checks, Tereza grabs the last bit of gear from the ramp and goes to stow it. "Okay, find a seat and buckle up. It won't take long to get to Wales in this thing. The plan is to do flyovers of each location and see if Vivienne can pick up anything. If she does, we'll set down and check it out. We're likely not the only group hunting, but we'll deal with that when we come to it. Any questions?"

Trev found a seat near Gemma, and started buckling himself in. “The armor’s a good look on you,” he smirked. “Don’t suppose you have a spare set in my size. Probably more comfortable than this damn uniform.

Victor kind of chuckled at the idea of someone trying to make room for him to sit, the guy could fit inside a tin of mints if he wanted to. But the gesture was appreciated all the same. Of course now was the time when he wished he had put his name in for the teams officially, having been out of the loop for a few key details.

"Wait what, Fey? Like, in D&D?"
