Things That Come In Threes

[Samantha McManus]

"Which was where I found out I can apparently be in more than one place at once."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Good for two girlfriends," Tereza teases.

[Samantha McManus]

"Once we figure this out, you might just have to be careful what you wish for," she snorts.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Might have to." She stretches and starts wrenching herself back into a more human shape.

[Ashlie Minamida]

The main door to the cells hisses open, followed by the sound of metal feet walking down the corridor until Ashlie's barebones frame comes into view of the occupied cells.

"My apologies for the delay in dealing with whatever happened here, but the situation seemed mostly under control and there were more pressing matters to attend to. Barring the massive glitches that seem to consistently follow certain people around." the robot says with Ashlie's voice.

Tereza is just finishing dressing as Ashlie comes in. She glances at Sam, "It's kind of a long, confusing story."

"I'll make it short. The pillbug came in with Conduit. She was the one operating the tank when Conduit took over, and she hitched a ride in my body after."

"She's me. After a fashion."

[Ashlie Minamida]

There's a strange twitch in one of Ashlie's arms and she runs her hand over her head in a mechanical, rote yet strangely human fashion as if she was brushing her hair out of her face and expressing some exasperation. She doesn't seem to notice.

"That explains the occupants of this cell."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza chews on her lip for a moment. "She goaded me into attacking Vivienne. In the process, I... I bit her. She was in here earlier, but we had Sean let her out so she could go to the med center."

[Samantha McManus]

"To be fair to Tereza, she's the one that locked us all up once the dust cleared."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"Commendable, but also something that will need to be addressed. You claimed to have this infection under control."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I did. And I'm aware of what this means given my history. I'm prepared to take responsibility and the consequences for my lapse." It was actually quite a bit different from the Tereza who had railed about injustice in Ashlie's office at the beginning of the first semester. No fight, no defiance, just quiet acceptance.

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I'll have to think it over to come up with a fair solution. You're the victim of telepathic manipulation and I've made allowances for more severe infractions."

[Cailleach]

"I didn't make her do anything." Cailleach helpfully supplies.

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I find that hard to believe. I'm certainly more inclined to detain the instigator rather than the actual perpetrator in this case. Miss Rozanov has shown surprising restraint and adherence to her promises in dealing with her condition up until this point while you helped lock me into a recursive loop and held the entire school hostage."

[Samantha McManus]

"And I know it's hard to trust me right now. But I can honestly say the second that field goes down she is going to be a nightmare," she gestures to Cailleach.

[Cailleach]

"I released the Fae that cut apart the electrical glamour." she proclaims proudly as she turns back into a mirror of Sam, shooting her counterpart a dirty look. "She... faffed about getting bested by a little girl."

[Samantha McManus]

"What I'm saying is keep us both locked up if you have to, and have Professor Rede or Terrance ready when you want to figure out which one of us is from this universe."

"Just... trying to be fair to you. I know you don't have to believe me."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Probably for the best if I'm not here whenever that happens."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I appreciate that you're being cooperative. I will arrange for Professor Terrance to come down here to sort this out quickly. Conveniently I need to set up a prisoner transfer to Muir anyway." she says, glancing down the hall towards the cells holding Char, Reach and Manikin.

[Samantha McManus]

"Since you're probably getting out before me, check on Viv, aye?" She says to Tereza.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I'll keep an eye on her," Tereza says with a nod.

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I would ask you to wear a tracking bracelet, just as a precaution. Nothing a smartphone wouldn't provide but not as easily lost when turning into a wolf."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"That's more than fair," Tereza says with a nod.
