Tereza growls, lunging in front of Haley, trying to block her view of the ring. It's obviously a protective move, but there's that razor's edge of aggression in it to.

"Do you really want this to escalate?" Nailah snaps at Tereza, grabbing her shoulder to pull her back.

Sam takes the blow on the chin, and is about to swing back again when she's yanked away by Haley, tumbling over the ropes.

Sean also wasn't expecting to be telekinetically tossed and went over the ropes towards the ground basically in sync with Sam.

Will, acting more out of instinct than anything else, ran over towards Sam to see if she was alright.

"Both participants out! Please hang on..." Ashlie's voice rings out as ghostly replay images of Sam and Sean move back up into the air and into the ring before replaying again in slow motion.

"First one out by point oh three seconds was... Sean Hall!"

Sean pushed himself up mostly unharmed and sighed as ASHLIE made her announcement. He let the magic he had gathered disspitate and felt the fatigue settle in.

Sam's a bit roughed up, but certainly not anything beyond what the safeties would have allowed as she sits up, reeling.

"What the hell was that?!" She yells, before looking to Will in confusion.

Nailah, while a little disappointed, looks mostly relieved.

"I swear, if you're gonna complain about winning..."

"Another victory for the Morrigan," Will...or, rather, the boy said, with a small frown.

He extended his hand to her to help her up. It was still a little bloody, with about two-thirds of some sort of celtic symbol carved into it.

Tereza yanks her shoulder away from Nailah and prowls around to Sam's other side, eyes on Null.

"We didn't even get to finish!" She grumbles as the Shapeshifter Formerly Known as Will helps her up.

"Seems pretty finished to me, though I'm sorry if you've got blue balls now."

Nailah rolls her eyes at Tereza.

"Former Will's more gracious in defeat than Wolf-Pack is in victory..." she mumbles to Haley.

Sean was quiet as their team's Will talked to Sam and the others needled on another. He turned and walked away while pulling a small oval of glass from a pocket. The surface of the glass had symbols carved around it's edge with one larger central one. Sean said something quietly and the oval began to glow.

Tereza's eyes dart to Nailah and Haley. She growls something that's lost in the translation to a muzzle. Since Sam seems okay, she wanders away to try rounding up the bits of Will.

No signs of the bits of Will in the arena, though there was a faint scent of milk and anise coming from the girls' locker room.

Haley took several fearful steps back, dropping into a defensive stance as the enormous werewolf got into her face, ready to block with a shield.

How did this get so intense? It was supposed to be all in good fun wasn't it?

As Tereza loped away Haley let out a shuddering sigh and dropped her hands to her side, her shoulders slumping. "I should have just stayed in my room...what a clusterfuck," she mumbled to herself barely acknowledging Nailah's presence at her side.

"At least you get why it doesn't feel like it solves anything, aye? We left the ring at the same bloody time."

"Yeah, but you stayed up longer. Benefit of being part bird, I suppose,"

The boy took his hand back, and wiped the blood on his shirt. "Recruited three people to beat you, and I still couldn't. A well-earned, hard fought victory.

I just hope you're pleased with the side you chose."

He glanced over at his teammates, with a disgruntled expression on his face.

Maybe Null or Sam noticed, maybe not, but there was a whistling sound and Sean vanished through what looked like a full-length mirror shaped portal.

"I'll keep that in mind next time I'm fighting for my life against a pagan war goddess."

The boy looked around for a moment, and then headed for the exits.
